The law is 120 days before they can do anything. If you are behind you should contact them. Banks are not in the real estate business. Its extremely expensive for them to deal with. They may offer to work with you even forgiving some of the loan. We are no where near pandemic levels nor the 2008 housing crash. Its never in your best interest to just ignore your bills.
