I did a thing! If you use a Quest 3 (and maybe a Pro or 3S) with Virtual Desktop, you can key any VR game to have mixed reality pass through! It’s in the stream settings! Use this world I made:

The Dark Voyager has opened a Sideways Rift to ANOTHER REALITY! 🟨 According to leaks, the golden Sideways Rift will cycle through four different realities. Currently it's on the first one. I believe it's looking for the other Zero Shards since it's been revealed that some of the Zero Point will be rebuilt this season. On a side note, this golden Sideways Rift with the cube glyphs seems to be confirmation that a Golden Cube has the capablity of opening up a sideways rift to a certain extent. However, as we saw in the Chapter 2 Finale Event, if it recieves more power from other Cubes it is capable of opening up an even larger Sideways Rift!

📣 Today I’m excited to share an IMPORTANT update on where we’re headed with VR & Worlds. Over the past year, we’ve listened to feedback from developers and creators. One thing was clear: both communities needed more focus and clearer direction. Starting in 2026, VR & Worlds will operate as two distinct platforms: - VR is focused on third-party developers, with the Meta Horizon Store restructured around apps and games instead of Worlds. - Worlds is going mobile-first, with dedicated tools to build for mobile. We remain the largest investor in VR, and we’re building both platforms to support the long term success of our creator and developer communities. 📌 Read the full details in Samantha Ryan’s post

WHILE THE IRAN WAR COOLS, GAZA REMAINS IN RUINS I'm glad the Iran war is coming to an end, but the world is still turning a blind eye to the plight of Palestinians in Gaza. With Israel and Iran agreeing to a ceasefire, the world has shown that even the most dangerous conflicts can be paused. Now is the time to demand the same for Gaza.

🚨 - I’m currently at a New Build block of flats in Mitcham run by Optivo. The whole block has been flooded. It was built in 2018 and is now like a scene from Titanic. Tenants have had issues for years they’ve said. All 3 floors are flooded.

Some personal news! 📣 Recently, I joined Niantic as the product lead to work on MR apps and Gaussian splatting! Today, we’re launching “Into The Scaniverse”—A way of viewing Scaniverse splats in VR (yours and the ones posted to the map) 📸 It’s available as a webxr app via Quest Browser (for Q3 and Q3S), soon to launch in the Meta Horizon store. Honored to be working with quite a lot of brilliant folks at Niantic 🙌 Link to the webxr app 👇

🇫🇮 Finnish President Alexander Stubb: 🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺 “From a military point of view, the situation for Ukraine in the war with Russia is now better than ever”… 📌 “The first year of this war was a fight for survival for Ukraine. After that — three years of resilience. Now it’s pure mathematics. Currently, for every killed Ukrainian soldier, there are eight killed Russians. In addition, support for the war in Russia is decreasing, so Ukraine now has the upper hand.” Video is generated by grok AI
