Swingin, Straight tequila nights, Seminole wind, John Anderson had some bangers.

One of the most beautiful country music songs of all time by Anderson is Seminole Wind.

Not true. Even if you live in and igloo on the North Pole you know John Anderson is one of the best American singers and songwriters in all of country music. So damn underrated.

I’m from thr same hometown as him. Apopka, Florida used to be Southern.

I love John Anderson. He never ever gets old.

Great old tune. No wonder Charlotte would never go out with me.

Out here cuttin chicken up to fry

I had a literature major from New York unironically try to explain the hidden meaning of a country song to me once. Most idiotic line of drivel I've ever heard.

I am an admitted Yankee, however I did live in NC 1988-1991. But even if I had not, I get this 1000%. One of my all time favs. but Black sheep of the family is a bit better. But I am sorry, some of us get it !

He's from Florida, and originally a hard rocker until he found out he could make more money singing to hillbillies.

NONE better

He’s so good. One of my all time favorites 🫡

John Anderson died. He wasn’t the biggest country star there ever was but may have been one of the nicest. In 1990 I was TDY to Rhein Main AFB in Frankfurt Germany to support the run up to Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I’m not sure who the third person was, Nathan Forshier or Brandon Schofield. The late Mark Feinstein and myself and the mysterious 3rd person, went to go see John Anderson at the NCO club there on base. He put on a wonderful show and when he introduced the band it came to be that his drummer was from Springdale Arkansas. After the show I talked to the drummer and told him I was from Rogers. Mr Anderson overheard us and invited us out to his bus out back for a few cold Budweisers. Come to find out, Mark Feinstein knew some of Mr Anderson’s kinfolk. We had a nice 2 hour visit or so and we got to get away for a bit and be reminded of home. RIP Mr Anderson

John Anderson Just a swinging

I have a couple of his albums. Born and Raised in Illinois; ancestors fought with Sherman. Are you a professional idiot?

It’s a joke mort

@morttoupes Maybe wait until the great divider in chief is out of office before returning to jokes about the division of the country?

@LampInAField @morttoupes You’re a retard

I love Jon Anderson the Spirit of this X makes me laugh

He moves his head like Guy Smiley when he sings. That said, nobody has ever put more mustard on the word “pie” than John Andersen just did.

@CorkySwift2 From Apopka Fla RIP

Swangin

I saw John Anderson years ago at the Plant City Strawberry Festival and he was "Swingin".

One of the best shows I've ever seen is John Anderson

Thank God! Maybe if I married my cousin I could comprehend this! 🤣🤣🤣🤡

my mom loves him in Michigan

Playing the drums is so easy a caveman could do it.

Nothin better just swingin

In rural Indiana, we would call your observation bullshit. However, it it fair to say we don't go for western wear as much as you cotton pickers. There's that.

Seminole Wind is a masterpiece.

The Yankee mind, a mixture of many strands of 🧬, doesn’t have the streamlined 🧠 of those south of the Mason Dixon line

still play that CD, TBH the good ole boys in upstate NY are just the same as the boys down here, like my builder said once, there are more rednecks in upstate NY than there are in the whole state of SC, his wife's family was from Binghamton NY & he would go up to visit

I loved this song when I was a kid.

Swangin’

He puts on one of the best shows!❤️🌹🥰

You are correct.

"Look Away" by John Anderson, worth a listen
