But the quran says that Christians should act according to the books they have with them. These books were and are the Bible (which ironically comes from the word biblos (=book)). Sura 10:94 states that if Mohammad is in doubt, he can ask the Jews and Christians who are familiar with the stories he’s being taught. If I’m a Christian in the 7th century hearing the revelation of the Quran and I judge it based on the scriptures I have, I would deem the Quran false.
