Our City Council unanimously passed a motion to send a letter of support to the Prime Minister and Federal Government, in regard to respecting the sovereignty of Canada and its citizens, and encourage the Federal Government to work diligently to bring to justice those responsible for the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar; and that correspondence be sent to Peel Regional Police, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Public Safety Minister, Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), and Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to ensure the safety of all Canadians in places of worship.

UPDATE: RCMP have confirmed an investigation is underway at Universal Ostrich Farms. There has been a lot of concern raised about the number of ostriches on the farm. Specifically that the number is far lower than it should be. Sgt. Mike Rude (retired) has been gathering evidence which was delivered to rcmp this morning with Katie and family. The investigation is ongoing and I will provide updates when they are provided by RCMP.
