This is a Cypress Suite at Bellagio, the rooms that grace the center cylindrical tower. This beautiful space comes with massive his and her bathroom suites complete with fancy toilets and stunning views in all directions. This particular room is on the 7th floor with a view just behind the lake village and a sneaky peek at the villa patios. No direct view of the lake at this level but hard to be angry about it. The rooms at Vanderpump Hotel are now open. This is a standard king room. Lots of light with sage and lavender accents. A stark contrast to the dark sexy hallway. The bathroom is mostly retained from Cromwell but otherwise a total renovation. Minutes after walking into the room, because it is the first night of the rooms being available, I was greeted with a welcome wagon and gifts of rosé and whiskey and a lovely box of chocolates.🥰 I returned to the room after visiting Gigolo, the lobby bar, and the room was turned down with slippers by the bed and chocolates on the nightstand. So happy with the refresh and I can’t wait to see the suites!! Vital Vegas Las Vegas Locally 🌴 The Vanderpump Hotel

Superfrico is one of the most interesting restaurants in Vegas. The room is quirky on all sides and roving performers visit every few minutes. From contortionists, a moon man, and a massive cow, they keep it really weird in the best way. Sadly, I did not see the bubble man this trip. He’s my favorite. I have sampled most of the menu over the years but this time I splurged on the table-side mozzarella. So, this magician comes out and turns crumbly curds into silky creamy heaven with the best cheese pull you will ever see. This was also the first time I’ve tried the chicken parm and I promise it won’t be the last. I just don’t know how it stays so crispy. Check it out! The corner suite at Aria is a bit of a splurge but there is plenty to like about this property. This room was $420 with taxes and resort fee. Lights and curtains are automated from an iPad type of panel. Plenty of plugs for your devices on both sides of the bed. Jetted tub next to the floor to the ceiling window. And automated toilet with bidet. I stayed in this room when the property first opened in 2009 and then again last night. Still fairly well maintained. And city center has some of the cleanest windows to allow you to enjoy that view day and night. Add to that all the restaurant, lounge, and shopping options and you have a lovely place to stay. I am a fan of boutique hotels. Small and personal. There are only a few in Vegas, Cromwell is my favorite but a close second is The English in Midtown (the northern part of the Arts District). It has a clean modern look, a beautiful pool, and The Pepper Club offering an incredible brunch 7 days a week. Upon checking in you are offered a welcome gift of snacks and a parking pass for their small lot adjacent the property. Its just a few steps to the elevators and there’s even a small bar cart in your room. Add to that its proximity to the ever growing list of restaurants, lounges, and vintage shops of 18b and you’ve got the perfect staycation. Vital Vegas Las Vegas Locally 🌴

I was invited to the friends and family preview of Carbone Riviera at Bellagio officially open 11/7. I expected it to be good, I did not anticipate it being so extraordinarily beautiful. This is one of those crown jewel Las Vegas dining experiences that can’t be replicated anywhere else. It’s a total package of awe, romance, delicious Italian food, the dancing show of the fountains, world class service & classic grandeur.
