@4Mischief Anytime you find a baby deer, you should leave it alone because its mother knows where it is and will return for it. The same is true for baby seals on the beach.

Wow nice people but bad decision. They were more than likely laying on the road because it was warm well waiting for mom who was out foraging. This could have been an accidental abduction.

@Headshok1962 Cute yes - but never never disturb a tiny fawn that won’t move. Momma knows where they are and will come back!

This was not smart. When I lived in Alaska the doe would leave their fawns next to the road while they went and foraged because the black bears don’t like going by the roads. Therefore, the fawns would not get eaten. She just stole 3 baby’s from a doe.

They are waiting for Momma. We have them all around our home and they are absolutely magnificent, beautiful and bring serenity to our hearts and souls. The beauty of them frolicking and playing is magical. Have a wonderful week

How did the mother know those were her fawns, let alone find them after they were half grown?
