Human beings cannot be born in the wrong body. You are your body. Where were you before you were in your body? Your body cannot grow an opposite sex brain, the same as it cannot grow an opposite sex kidney. People who are distressed by their sex, or whom do not conform to sexist stereotypes, are not "supposed to have been" the opposite sex. No one can change sex. It is set at conception, immutable throughout our lives, and identifiable after death. Unnecessary hormones and surgeries may sometimes create a facsimile of the opposite sex but this comes with loss of function, life-limiting side effects, and ties people to the medical industry for the rest of their lives. Why do you @UKLabour not ask themselves where all these "trans kids" were 15 years ago? No one is born in the wrong body, no one is trans. We are living through an unprecedented socio-medical scandal of global proportions.

How can a child be trans?

We don’t denying the existing of humans by stating the fact, that humans cannot change sex. They are only women & men and we don’t bend reality for a group of people. Stop Gaslighting us!

Political football? Is that what she's doing by pretending to be on both sides? I will vote for the party who repeals the GRA and gets gender recognition out of all laws. I don't care what 'political team' do it. And culture war? Is it? Maybe. If we're battling out the future culture of our country, whether women are allowed female only spaces, services, sports and care, then it's pretty fking important, and not something to be so frivolously dismissed. She can fk off.

It's not a "culture war" @bphillipsonMP. It's about stopping activist teachers (of which there are many) imposing the idea that some people are somehow "born in the wrong body" (how?) on kids. It's the most vulnerable who believe it: gay, autistic, anxious, distressed.

Leave the kids alone, and stop telling them that gender nonconformity is a mental illness, or that it makes their sexed bodies wrong. It’s so damn regressive.

This is indoctrination of children with a cult ideology that is misogynistic and homophobic. You cannot change sex. No one is born in the 'wrong body'.
