Went to a church service this morning (2nd time ever-wife asked me to attend), noticed that the pastor would stop right on the cliff of going deep and keep it purely surface level, kept me from fully engaging. What a shame

I found the timing hilarious because on Thursday, I was discussing biblical insights with a friend—things only those with “eyes to see and ears to hear” might notice. As we exchanged ideas, he concluded by saying, “I don’t think you’re qualified to have these perspectives. You’re not a preacher, so you have no say in this.”

Posted this after I finally found peace in a day filled with existential mental/spiritual storms. Thanks Rubi

I instinctually felt like I could trust the guy on the left as soon as I opened the video just from his (especially vocal) physiognomy. Ended up watching the whole video and my gut instinct was vindicated.
