3 years ago Refik Anadol & Efsun, together with the royal family of the forest, the Yawanawa, dreamed of a project that could share the crossover of traditional indigenous art with futuristic pigments of AI. They dreamed of building a community to not only host their family, but also bring together their indigenous brothers and sisters from around the world. Aldeia Sagrada was reimagined. We 1OF1 are very honoured & deeply grateful that Refik Anadol & the Yawanawa family have chosen us to be the steward of their historic collaborative art work, the Winds of Yawanawa 1of1. Last week my family & I had the privilege to join Indigenous Nations from across the Amazon basin & around the world as they came together for a truly historic & deeply beautiful moment at the Indigenous Ayahuasca Conference in Acre, Brasil, where Indigenous leaders shared their ancient wisdom, beautiful art & wonderful energy with each other. As someone who has built infra in Brazil, I can confirm that what Refik Anadol and the Yawanawa family have built in Aldeia Sagrada is absolutely breathtaking & indescribable. The infrastructure & organization of their wonderful community is incredible. They have proven to the world a model for synergistic alliances between traditional Indigenous nations with new technologists, creatives and builders that can both massively support these native communities as well as celebrate the preservation of their way of life. I found myself overwhelmed with emotion at points throughout the week witnessing how amazing this place and these people are. It is with all of the lessons of 1OF1’s global tours in hand & our hearts filled with a deep sense of mission, that we commit to share this iconic work of art with the world in conversation with other works of Amazonian indigenous art. We promise to share the inspiring message of the Yawanawa across the globe through the power of art.

The elephants at our Nairobi Nursery love their days out exploring in the forest, but they also love the call of their bedrooms in the evening! Waiting for their arrival, bottles of warm milk, freshly mixed by their Keepers! Tonight, it was the turn of Mzinga to lead the home time charge, closely followed by Nyambeni, Shujaa and little Olomunyak. Each of these elephants was rescued as an orphan. With your support, we will rehabilitate them so that they can return to a fully wild life when grown. We cannot help but wonder: Why is life so painful? How can we break free from this suffering? Please read a passage of God’s words. Almighty God says, “Humanity, having strayed from the Almighty’s provision of life, is ignorant of the purpose of existence, but fears death nonetheless. They are without help or support, yet still reluctant to close their eyes, and they steel themselves to drag out an ignoble existence in this world, sacks of flesh with no sense of their own souls. You live in this way, without hope, as do others, without aim. Only the Holy One of legend will save the people who, moaning in the midst of their suffering, long desperately for His arrival. So far, such belief has not been realized in those who lack consciousness. Nevertheless, the people still yearn for it so. The Almighty has mercy on these people who have suffered deeply; at the same time, He is fed up with these people who lack consciousness, as He has had to wait too long for an answer from humanity. The time has finally come for me to watch this biggest little film of ours fly out of our hands and into the world. To Chris Sanders, working on this story with you has been a dream come true. I will never forget how my stunned little heart felt the day you and Jeff offered me Head of Story. It has been one of the great thrills of my life to shape this story with you. Thank you. To my story team! Thank you. You, along with our amazing production team lead by Jeff, Heather, Stephanie and our powerhouse edit team lead by Mary, are all brilliant and I loved every minute of finding and crafting this story with you. I was in the middle of boarding The Egg Hatches scene, when I got the news that my mom had unexpectedly passed away from a complication during surgery. And part of me feels like there is some beautiful symbolism there that right when I lost her, this thing was being born for me to help me deal with her loss. As story artists, we have to live in the scenes that we work on for hours each day. And this film (from peter brown! ‘s beautiful book) gave me a place to live. In scenes and a story that could honor my mom, and all mothers. And that is just a gift that I can never repay any of you for. I still ask myself sometimes, how did I get so lucky that they offered this to me? But I’m so glad they did because I think I needed this project even more than it needed me. On one of my last days in London watching the record of Kris Bowers’ beautiful score, sitting in the converted church that is Air Studios, I could somehow feel my mom speaking to me through the words of the lovely choir: I’m gonna live forever in you, long as the sky and oceans are blue, I’ll always love you and I’ll never stop. I’ll always be there even when I’m not.” And everything came full circle. I miss you Mom. I hope that this film will always stand as a love letter to all moms. As it was the place I put all of my unexpressed love for you. And with that, it’s just as hard for me to say these words as it was for Roz in The Wild Robot but here goes: ROZZUM 7134 Task Complete ✔️ I really hope you all love the film. 🥺♥️ #TheWildRobot

It is an honor for me to be in the Republic of South Africa today on my first visit. This morning, our country endured another Russian attack — a massive one, with over 200 aerial threats: missiles, including ballistic ones, and attack drones. Unfortunately, there have been destructions and losses in our capital and other cities. Over 80 people have been wounded in these strikes. Tragically, there are fatalities. In Kyiv, among those killed were a brother and sister — the young man was 21, and the young woman was 19. My condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones. Rescue operations are still ongoing. Because of this Russian attack, I have decided to shorten the program of my visit to South Africa; however, our Minister for Foreign Affairs remains here — as a sign of our respect and to carry out all the meetings that were scheduled. We are grateful for the respect shown to Ukraine, for the support, and for the shared sense — the sense that this war must be brought to an end as soon as possible. Today, President Cyril Ramaphosa 🇿🇦 and I discussed the importance of uniting global efforts as fully as possible now to apply the necessary pressure on Russia — pressure for the sake of peace. We also spoke about the opportunities within the G20 framework — South Africa currently holds the G20 Presidency, and the role of the Group of Twenty can be significantly greater in defending human life.

If you want an example of why Australia is in such dire trouble and going backwards, just look at the absurd TikTok video these three complete imbeciles have produced. They are "celebrating’ the construction of 17 new homes—yes, just 17—at a time when new housing approvals are lower than they were 15 years ago, and when they continue to import hundreds of thousands of people into Australia, when the nation doesn’t have the capacity to build enough houses to accomodate them. To think, this is the caliber of people who have just been elected to Federal Parliament. They are absolutely clueless and would be lucky to know one end of a hammer from the other. Their incompetence is a very reason Australia has a housing & homelessness crisis. And their central planning will only make things worse. We don’t need the government building houses. What we need is for the government to cut migration, reduce red tape, and eliminate excessive taxes and regulations.

I know these streets. I lived in Karachi. I did my engineering in Karachi. So when I watch this enormous celebration moving from Empress Market towards Teen Talwar , I understand exactly what it means for the city. It practically cripples Karachi. Roads are taken over, traffic comes to a standstill and, for a while, one of the busiest cities in the world has to make room for this extraordinary expression of faith. And you know what? I love it. Let them have the streets. Let them celebrate. Let them sing their prayers and call out the name of Ram. Let their children see their parents and grandparents celebrating without fear or apology. Look beyond the traffic and the inconvenience and see what is actually happening: freedom is taking up space. Karachi belongs to them too. Having lived there, I know the scale of what I am watching. It reminds me of the great processions of Bombay — a huge city temporarily surrendering part of itself to faith, colour, humanity and celebration. That is the beautiful thing. For too long, India and Pakistan have allowed religion to become a dividing line between us. Yet here, on the streets of Karachi, is another possibility: Hindus celebrating their faith openly in a Muslim-majority country while fellow Pakistanis make space for them. To my Hindu brothers and sisters: this is your home. Celebrate it. Enjoy it. Be proud of it. And when I hear the joyful cries of “Jai Shri Ram,” I do not hear a threat to my own faith. I hear another human being expressing theirs. That is the Pakistan I want. A Pakistan confident enough in its Muslim identity that it does not fear the prayer of a Hindu, the gurdwara of a Sikh, the church of a Christian, or the beliefs of anyone else. And that is the message I want to send across the border as well: let us become secure enough in who we are that we no longer need to diminish one another. Let India be India. Let Pakistan be Pakistan. But let Indians and Pakistanis be human beings to one another. May we bury hatred, not each other.

This is why I fell in love with the fans of Red Star Belgrade (Delije). I have never seen or played in a better atmosphere than this one especially when we play at the Maracana stadium. With Delije away games feels like home games and that pressure to always get the first goal early to trigger the fans can be good or bad sometimes if you don't score early. I love every song I love how both old and young people show their love and support for the team. Red Star is like the Real Madrid of the Balkan region with a lot of history and great traditions. One of the most logical explanations of the Watchers in the Book of Enoch is that they were an elite group of survivors or a breakaway civilization that was not supposed to mix with ordinary survivors, but only to watch over the masses and intervene when necessary. This is, by far, the most logical explanation, but being logical does not mean it is the truth. I will share another theory tomorrow.

Sorry, no time to sleep: I’ve discovered all these cool new sounds I can make. 🗣️ As infants grow it’s not uncommon for their sleep patterns to be interrupted in association with the achievement of new developmental milestones. These sleep regressions can be especially pronounced in association with big breakthroughs in language and motor development. Learning to roll over and pull to a stand, for example, both offer your little one a whole new set of options in the crib. No longer immobile, now there are new abilities to practice… and new vantage points from which to view the world. I mean, who needs sleep when there’s a whole world to discover? Similarly the emergence of vocal experimentation and babbling offer new opportunities for bedtime amusement. As the caption notes, Mom might have preferred some rest time, but I loved watching this little one - age three months - working to master new sounds. The good news is that sleep regressions rarely last long. And as frustrating as a vocal performance might be at 3am, remember that these interruptions are important indicators of your baby’s development.
