There has to be a solution from Republicans, or at least assurances I can believe in. Because right now, 24 million Americans are at risk of seeing their healthcare costs double overnight. That’s not something I’m willing to gamble with.

Here’s the deal right now: Trump and Republicans are willing to shut down the government instead of work with Democrats to prevent health care costs from rising even more. People are already hurting as a result of Trump’s severe cuts, and Americans’ premiums are expected to double. We must take action to ensure people can still access affordable health care.
