There is only one place the Clash should be at. 🏖️ 📺

@DaleJr @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco The people have spoken.🗣️

The biggest criticism of the Clash at Daytona was it turned into a wreckfest. Well that's more of a problem with the rules package than the track or the event itself. It would be great to see it at Daytona with a package that doesn't have cars running over each other. And a Daytona 500 that doesn't have 75% of the cars in crashes

@DaleJr @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco Literally couldn’t have said it better

@DaleJr @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco I sure hope NASCAR is watching and listening closely to this.

@DaleJr @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco If the modern goal of the Clash is to grow NASCAR's reach and promote the Daytona 500 to a mass audience it's counterintuitive to hold it in front of/for an audience that was going to watch the Daytona 500 anyway.

@DaleJr @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco But dale! @nascar doesn’t care about “history” or “tradition” anymore

@DaleJr @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco Agree 100%. I’ve been a fan for 30 yrs/had inside access for 20 yrs/did some PR work on/off in the sport for 15 yrs. The Clash should go back to what it was. A companion event to front row qualifying for last year’s pole/prior Clash winners only.

@DaleJr @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco Clash- Back to daytona, pole winners, past winners, past winners of the clash, past champions, stage winners. Keep it at night. The juice throughout the season will interesting with agendas on stages.

@DaleJr @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco 100%

Take it back to Daytona and... How many laps can a car make at Daytona on one tank of fuel? Set the Clash length to that, along with the field set by last years pole winners, previous clash winners (who are still racing full time), and previous cup champions (who are still racing full time), regular season, and play off. A lot of those spots will overlap probably leaving you with a field of 20 - 25 cars at most.
