IDK that Gen X has any special strengths in this area, but it's definitely a practice that has been eroding over the past decade.

Based on the comments on this..it is obvious that most people don't know how old a Gen X person is without looking up the generational dates Secondly, Gen X hit 4 recessions/economic downturns to date in its working age..MORE THAN ANY GENERATION SINCE PRE WW2

@dragonlover80 Critical thinking is so outdated; now they just jump on the first new trend.

Critical thinking is too complex and requires that your brain work hard for the lazy Leftards.

The younger generations all think the same and don't think independently.

20-25 years ago I could listen to MSNBC or CNN cover a news story, and then flip a channel to Fox News to get their slant on the same story, so that I could make up my own mind. Today I canโ€™t do that, as the news event is not even covered by one side or the other if it does not fit their narrative. Just look at the coverage of the Iranian Revolution.

Not all Gen X but an overwhelming majority. There have always been โ€œblue hairs with septum rings and perpetual outrageโ€ to buzz kill everyone else.

We Boomers taught them that. Too bad they didn't pass it on the the Millennials and Gen Z.

There's an app for that now. It will just tell you what to think. You don't even have to know anything about the subject. Isn't technology great!?!?

In 2010 the first course I was required to complete & pass before continuing any other courses at Open University was Critical Thinking.

Naw I'm not letting Gen X off the hook Critical thinking my ass. Gen X basically threw away all semblance of religiosity including the greats like Chesterton and Lewis for sex, drugs and rock and roll. Yall were messing with oujia boards and playing bloody Mary summoning literal demons And now look where that got us, congrats the world is full of demons

well the post modernist mind zombies even changed the definition of "critical thinking" to mean "we're going to be critical to one side and one side only, based on race and identity, fuck morality and ethics :P"
