MANGAUNG PRISON ROYALS Thabo Bester and Nandipha operated like untouchables, funding guards, sending inmates R500 weekly like he was prison SASSA, and living with special privileges including a grocery-stocked cell and fast food like McDonald’s and Steers. “Bester was the ATM of our cell-block. Anyone in need of cash would go to him… He had it all. Did not eat prison food.” I’d like to know how prisoners are able to “rent” their cells. Wild. Excelled work here by SABC, not that Netflix rubbish.
