For example, the output of the calculator app, typing/sending messages, navigating between apps and other functions are all dependent on complicated processes that occur under the hood of the phone that your brain can't replicate... This is why using a phone in a dream will usually be extremely frustrating -- nothing behaves as you expect or as it should. A lot of the pieces will be there but they will be garbled and endlessly confusing... As I discuss on Rogan here, this is a good reality test for lucid dreaming. If your phone is working as it should, you're almost certainly not dreaming...

Mainly started this project because there’s no app I can reliably use without it crashing or too much $ for a simple data backup, plus I need something like this for iOS data recovery situations when customers come in with iOS device for data transfer but FMI on and they cannot remember the login. So this way I can backup data FAST and have multiple ways to transfer the backup files, (Air drop wired or wireless, iCloud, etc) Also, main focus for this app will be elegant UI and high reliability and speed for backups.

This is Anagha Rajesh. And she is crazy. She wants to store data in bacterial DNA. Her startup is called BioCompute. And last year, they actually did it. They stored data in DNA and retrieved it in their tiny lab in Bengaluru. This is a huge moment. But why is she even doing it? Because DNA is the ultimate storage tool available to us. Just 1 gm of DNA can store about 215 petabytes of data - that's like storing over 2 million movies in 4K. On top of that - this data can last for literally 1000s of years. Right now, they still need to figure out a way to make the reading and writing process faster and cheaper. But if BioCompute solves this problem - we could theoretically store all the data created in the world every year in the palm of our hands. And that would be insane. P.S.
