Saw this clip of Ryan Blaney getting spun on the final lap has taken off, so I decided to take a closer look. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. swings outside to pass Josh Berry, who had lost a ton of momentum after getting hit in the right front. It looks like there's contact between the 47's left rear and Austin Dillon's right front, but Dillon said on his radio that he got hit in the door by Austin Cindric - which the 2's in-car shows happened. Stenhouse seemed miffed that they threw the caution and it sounded like he was hoping to race back to the line if I'm right. Blaney meanwhile was pretty hot as you might expect.

Major Chase development that went relatively under the radar: Joey Logano had a right front tire start to come apart with three laps to go. He had to nurse his car to the finish and dropped way off the pace. Plummeted from 12th to 20th, last car on the lead lap. Didn't realize this happened until the extended USA post-race mentioned it happened. There *might* have been contact with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. but it's very hard to tell definitively or not.

Seemed like the thing Alex Bowman was most upset about in the last 10 laps was the way Shane van Gisbergen raced him, which impeded his progress despite SVG being a lap down not racing anyone. Looked like Bowman weaved in front of SVG on cooldown and made a hand gesture.

SVG acknowledged his bias, but pointed to the reception in Mexico among fans getting to see NASCAR racing in real life for the first time. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of the Connor Zilisch/Ricky Stenhouse incident and if Zilisch had ample warning Stenhouse was coming to pit road. You can see clearly from Carson Hocevar's onboard that Stenhouse waved to signal to traffic behind him that he was coming to pit road after being told to try and bring it down as early as Turn 1. You can hear on Hocevar, Todd Gilliland and Cody Ware's onboards that each of their spotters told them the pit cycle was beginning, and both Gilliland and Ware were told to watch for hands. Each of these drivers also could've plausibly seen Stenhouse's hand out the window (Remember, the onboard cameras are on the passenger's side and aren't a perfect reflection of what the driver is seeing). But I didn't hear Zilisch get told anything about green flag stops or to watch for hands in about 10 laps I listened to prior to the incident. Stenhouse's spotter also mentioned as he was bearing left that he wasn't around the spotters of the other drivers Ricky was running with, so he was waving to try and get their attention from the spotter's stand. Zilisch's spotter apparently never saw this and claimed he just got an apology when he went over to ask Stenhouse's spotter what that was about. Keep in mind that I believe Zilisch's spotter (Stefan Parsons if I'm right) is in his first season as a full-time Cup spotter.
