There was nothing else like this show

This happens literally one minute later

I think the most honest moment in the series is when he sees her a couple seasons later after a bunch of awful shit happens and she just starts screaming in horror at the mere sight of him.

@willmenaker Season 5 was incredible television, metal gear solid ass season

Kiefer Sutherland [lips a millimeter away from a ADR mic]: 𝙝𝙚𝙮

there was one thing a lot like it

In season 2, Jack addicted himself to heroin and underwent torture to prevent an AI-generated cassette tape of the president from being released.

Legitimately one of the most unhinged scenes in television history.

The fact that the hero was admittedly a sociopath willing to torture his own father to get a confession was very compelling

In the middle of season 4 rewatch mostly to get to this, one of the Great Seasons of Television

Season 5 is all-timer TV

@willmenaker watching this in the dorm with the homies mere weeks after 9/11 ☠️👽😎

@smod4real I watched the whole thing a few years ago (wasn’t my thing when it was originally on) Good TV shit!! Certainly trails off after season 5 though

Sometimes I remember Justice Scalia asked, ‘are you going to convict Jack Bauer?’ Brilliant tele does these sorts of things I suppose.

@willmenaker

glorified garbage of the imperial state.

@willmenaker Bro will @willmenaker

orrrrdrey!

@JasonKPargin I've never been so on the edge of my seat as watching that show.

@willmenaker I was just doing a little torture, honey pie

The best

that's right

I like to think the writers were just trying to see if they could get Kiefer Sutherland to fully commit to any scene or situation, no matter how ridiculous And he always did

@EmmaVigeland Is this the season with a bioweapon at the hospital? This was a stressful season but definitely a banger

24 and The West Wing did so much damage to the discourse

LMAOOO

@EmmaVigeland @grok what tv show is this?

It jumped the shark S1:E6

Teddy Altman cheated again?

@JasonKPargin So good.

and this is the best season btw
