So this man’s whole identity is based around Winnie the Pooh? Shoutout to him!

so cute 💛🧸

He keeps going on tangents…

i think he was just excited to talk about winnie, so all the information he had about him came flooding at once in his head

Why is he Winnie *the* Pooh instead of Winnie Pooh?

i think it’s bc pooh was originally the name of a swan, so they couldn’t just call him winnie pooh without overlapping the two names. “the” now acts as a title. pooh the swan and winnie the pooh. ☺️

The whataverse?

the pooh-niverse 🧸

I like seeing adults still powering their inner child. I think it’s cool that he held on to the memorabilia and is still collecting in his adult years. that’s why I urge people to not give up the things that made them truly happy in their younger years.

Check this man’s hard drive asap

So many want to be like how can THIS be what your life is about. We need people like this to keep humanity balanced. He is the keeper of the Pooh. A node in social history. I didn’t need to know this information but I’m glad I now do.

Someone should check this guy’s browser history

Yet Christoper robin was a sick child with cancer, right?

not cancer, but a rare neuromuscular disease, which he later passed away from at the age of 75 :(

Ah yes thank you. I couldn’t remember exactly what he had.

WTF? Somebody check this dudes computer.

These are the ppl that should be in Museums and have TV shows to nerd out about these things. Had no idea it was this deep lmaoo

The level of interest and obsession to get to this point where you’ve surpassed regular interest, surpassed the stage where you weird everyone out, and become in a sense admirable for being the person who carries the history something like this alive. Without people like this, history is lost. It might be over the top but it’s appreciated…. At least eventually, but not before it’s incredibly weird for many years lol

I always thought it was the name of the fictional species of bear that Winnie is. Polar Bear, Grizzly Bear, Pooh Bear. Guess I was way off.

Honestly kinda jealous of all those old Pooh Bear VHS tapes he has there. I'll bet several of them include the show's theme song, something my compilation DVDs sadly lack, only having the end credits theme

@OtakuBucsFan Well I’ve never seen someone so excited about Winnie The Pooh but I’m totally here for it 😂

My guy has never seen the Poohnaverse in his life;-)

I’m gonna call this guy Winnie the Zesty

I Don’t Think This Rant Answers The Original Question Of “What” Is A Pooh Rather Than “Why” Is A Pooh. No Soup For You.

Xi would be proud!

...you ever see someone and have to ask "is this how i come off to normal people?"

I learned something today- an answer to a question that I never had but nevertheless, I stayed here through the whole thing because I was interested - that’s the power of the Internet.

There is also a tv movie about the real life bear in London Zoo called A Bear Named Winnie (2004) starring Michael Fassbender and the bear is featured in Goodbye Christopher Robin (2017) starring Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie

Stage four Disney adult

Christopher Robin came from a place called Winnipeg in Canada and that’s the name of Winnie came from

Winnipeg (bear) - Wikipedia

Whoa. Slow down skippy. The real bear had been brought to England by Canadian soldier and veterinarian Harry Colebourn, who named her after his hometown, Winnipeg, Manitoba. So the original bear was Canadian

A Canadian soldier from Winnipeg adopted an orphan bear cub in the trenches of WW1 & named it Winnie the Pooh - Winnie, after his hometown and Pooh b/c the bear cub was little & brown like poo. Soldiers... Winnie was the regimental mascot & later written into kids books.

A more concise answer would have been much appreciated…

Loved Pooh from my childhood! Had a a version of him when his honey pot lit up. He was my OG night light💛 Absolutely love this! Could listen to him explain many things, so gentle & intentional ♡

Want to find out way more than you wanted to know about a children’s character? Ask a homosexual

What kind of trauma caused this? Lol

1) if you’re British you understand what “Pooh” means 2) a plushie 😬 yeah not sure that’s what it’s called 3) I reckon, as someone who understands what “pooh” means, it’s bc it makes perfect sense that the Edwardian response to being lugged down the stairs every day is “oh pooh”

🤭 interesting choice for a man in his 40s🤷
