Alejandro Iñárritu is the director of Tom Cruise’s latest film #Digger & if there’s one thing I’ve learned in the six years running this account, it’s that Iñárritu is one of Cinema’s most polarizing directors. I truly love his filmography & think he’s made multiple timeless masterpieces, none better than Birdman. But I understand how & why so many others don’t jive with his style or creative risks. It’s why I think Digger will be a polarizing film.

Coached this kid for many years and he now lives back in Korea. Love his swing, such great fluidity and tempo. It’s a great example also of the arms never getting stuck and how the club “releases” and is almost thrown in a different way to an iron. The shaft raises and club exits higher, the club freewheels more 👌🏼

Not many wrestlers with a pin over Steve Mocco. Cole Konrad is maybe the most slept on wrestler of the past 20 years. A man with multiple wins over Steve Mocco and a dominant undefeated senior season. I thought Cole should have made the all quarter century team. Here is one of his wins over Mocco. This one was at National Duals. Epic scene. Also the official here is Mike Allen. Great ref who passed away recently. It's been interesting looking at a lot of old footage and seeing Mike in so many of these matches.

The “This Is Football” doc has great segment of Pep Guardiola watching his Barcelona game tape and adressing idea that Messi walks lazily around the pitch: “He’s walking. That’s what I like the most. He is not out of the game, he’s involved. He’s moving his head. Right, left, left, right. He knows exactly what is going to happen. But his head is always…moving. He’s not running, but he’s always watching what’s happening. He smells where are the weak points in the back four. After 5-10 minutes, he has the map in his eyes…in his brain to know exactly where is the space and what is the panorama. It’s like being in the jungle and I have to survive. Everyone knows how funny he is to be around and how he loves to play the game and he’s a great defender. But right now I think his swing’s in a great place. The hitting guys have been working real hard with him. He’s put in a lot of work. This is going to be his last Cactus League game. He’s going to leave us to go with Team South Korea.
