Regarding the Eric Trump / Daniel Cormier “text scandal”, I am open to being convinced otherwise, but I do not believe for one second that Eric Trump would text something so stupid to Daniel Cormier. It’s laughably stupid on its face to think that Eric Trump would ask a UFC commentator if any of the fights are “rigged”. That he would ask it in writing. And that he would not, for example, just pick up the phone and call Dana White or Joe Rogan himself. That said, I just want to understand what happened. Daniel Cormier said he was hacked. Is that to say he was hacked at the text level, or the X post level? Did he in fact make the post, and delete it? If he made the post, did he do it as a joke to illustrate how absurd the text hack was, but realized how the post could be misinterpreted as real? Or did someone make the post from his X account he subsequently deleted it. I know there are some who are going to say he made the post in earnest, thinking the text messages were real, intending to call out the “corruption”, and he has since been threatened, deleted the post, and claimed “hack”, etc. I can tell you exactly why I do not believe, even if he made the post, he did it believing the text message was real, intending to call out the “corruption”. If Cormier seriously thought the text messages were real, he would understand that by posting it publicly, it would literally destroy the UFC, his livelihood and his legacy - in addition to the legacy of everyone who has ever competed in the UFC. There is no realm of the universe in which even if it were in fact a real text that he actually received from Eric Trump, he would post it publicly. Because it would mean the end of the UFC. I just want to know if he actually made the post from his X account, or if the entire post was the result of a hack (hence the subsequent deleting of the post). Serious and sincere questions for clarity that would benefit everyone Eric Trump

Did you know that if Sen. John Thune and his RINO ilk somehow force the Senate to leave on vacation, that's not the end of the story? If you didn't know, President Trump can choose to call/compel them back into session under certain circumstances. Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution makes clear that the President may, if he deems it a worthy situation under what's referred to in the Constitution as the threshold of "...extraordinary Occasions." This essentially boils down to a President determining that a moment of sufficient importance exists; he can convene both Houses, or either of them individually. So, on the off chance that, upon arrival, they act like petulant children and let America down (yet again) by voting for another vacation recess, I absolutely expect Trump will cancel it again. Yes, he can do that. And to invoke that power, he would issue a proclamation setting the date and time for the session to begin—which I would assume would be right away and thereby making them all fly back. Then, upon their return, if they refuse to work to pass the SAVE America Act and vote to go on vacation again, Trump can order them back again. And no, there is no limit to how many times he can invoke that power. The way it hurts is that you wait for all the Senators to get home and call them back immediately. Rinse and repeat as necessary. It would be a nightmare for them—and a PR disaster heading into the midterm election. I say, make it hurt.

10 misstatements of facts. TEN. That’s how many material misrepresentations Hank Brennan deliberately made to the court last Tuesday when ironically trying to accuse defense counsel of doing just that. That’s no mistake. 0 motions or affidavits of factual support, signed & sworn under the pains and penalties of perjury were submitted by Hank Brennan. ZERO. It suddenly becomes much clearer why Hank Brennan ambushed the defense and the court with his dishonest attack on defense counsel. With total and complete disregard for and violation of the Rules of Criminal Procedure, and this Court’s repeated emphasis that it will not hear oral argument on matters that are not before the court in a submitted motion and affidavit (apparently her rules only apply to the defense), Hank Brennan had to launch his jury-tainting attack without any notice, and without any accountability, like an affidavit that would bind him to the factual representations he makes under the pains and penalties of perjury. In fact, I’d argue that Hank Brennan’s deliberate avoidance of any of these procedural rules was calculated and shows the premeditation of his attack. He knew exactly what he was doing, and he knew that if he’d properly filed his arguments in court documents ahead of the hearing, then the defense would’ve been prepared and able to quickly refute his lies with receipts like they did today. He knew that if he’d documented his lies in a signed and sworn affidavit, then when he was found out, it’d be much harder to claim plausible deniability. If it wasn’t already made clear to you, today certainly elucidated the fact that Hank Brennan is a snake. He’s no ethical, honest prosecutor—no. He’s Whitey Bulger’s former defense attorney and has got a weird fetish for the Feds. He’s not here for any sort of justice. #KarenReadTrial

Because President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud refused to listen to Somalis, abide by his constitutional mandate, and respect the country’s agreed political settlement, the international community is now telling him to stop acting recklessly. See the attached videos. Those in government — and those outside it — who used to cheer him on and tell him, “Dear Leader, you are on the right track,” should be ashamed of themselves. The first video is from today’s African Union Somalia mission troop-contributing countries presser. They openly acknowledge that Somalia has a serious political problem and make it clear that President HSM must sit down with the opposition and solve the disagreement. They also state that these countries will serve as observers. The second video, released by the U.S. Embassy, features the senior U.S. general responsible for the Horn of Africa, who speaks about the consequences of ignoring political problems. They said they will leave if these are not solved. We warned Prez Hassan Sheikh Mohamud it would come to this. The world invested blood and treasure to help Somalia stabilize — not to create a mini dictator. He refused to listen. Now they are reading him the riot act. After the communiqué was read, President HSM objected to its inclusion. But of course the statement was intentionally included and broadcast to pressure him and publicly register the troop-contributing countries’ displeasure. If he refuses to heed their message, they can ultimately withdraw their troops, leaving him cornered. This is not something we wanted. No Somali should want a man who nominally claims to be our President to be humiliated in this way. But it is Somalia that has been humiliated because of his past conduct, which has placed the nation in this weakened position. #CaanaKaDhanHee (Good riddance)
