Today, we have another new signature under the Peace Summit communiqué – Botswana has joined – and this is important as a signal to everyone in the world that we are expanding, no matter how difficult it may be, the circle of our partners – and thus the partners of peace for Ukraine and everyone in the world who respects international law. Additionally, these days negotiations are ongoing with participants of our working groups regarding the points of the Peace Formula – negotiations about how and when we will fill the implementation of the points of the Peace Formula with the necessary substance. Our unwavering goal is to prepare a real foundation for a just end to this war already this year. And it is possible.

This past week alone, the Russians have launched 1,920 attack drones, 1,790 guided aerial bombs, and 17 missiles of various types against Ukraine. We need to step up our countermeasures against these attacks. We are preparing for meetings with partners to strengthen our defense against this Russian terror. The G7, EU, and NATO summits are ahead. And it is very important that these negotiations result in concrete decisions. We expect meaningful meetings with our partners. First and foremost, we need support for air defense and our long-range capabilities, an expansion of cooperation in the Drone Deals format, and further strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia. We must end this war in a dignified way and with guaranteed security. And it is through strength, the unity of partners, and pressure on Russia that this can be achieved in a lasting way. Stephen Miller: When the Founding Fathers built this country, they were keenly aware of the fact that their history as Englishmen in the colonies, and their history and experience with Enlightenment principles and values, formed the foundation of our system of government. It is not the case, and has never been the case—to take the Haiti example—to take three million people from a failed island, put them into America, and overnight have them become fully successful, assimilated American citizens. It defies everything we know about how nations and assimilation work. These are hard conversations, but if we don’t have these conversations, we will continue blindly down the path that we have been on in this country for a long time.

We are awaiting the announced funds for the PURL initiative and, accordingly, the deliveries. Much depends on our partners – there is good momentum with Europe, and we are awaiting decisions from the U.S. In particular regarding the Patriots – we have proposed to the U.S. the purchase of the necessary number of systems. Also on the table is our proposal on drones. We have given our partners serious opportunities not only to invest in production in Ukraine – and our drones are clearly proving their effectiveness – but we are also preparing to build industrial complexes on the territory of our partners – our joint production facilities with them. For the first time in history, Ukraine will have modern joint arms production with strong countries.
