They are jumping the shield wall😮 The dwarves creating the shield war and switching it to offensive mode was peak cinema 🤩

The moment PJ lost me. This was sloppy and unrealistic.

It was beautiful, you gotta give them credit

absolutely not

Oh my bad 🤥😂

Stup!d strategy. Waste time setup a shield and then your army do not need that defend.

😂😂😂😂

And stupid elves jump the most logical defensive formation and die just to look cool or something...

And then elves-idiots jumped over this wall just to die in the first impact.

Okay, but why would the Elves just jump over the shield wall the Dwarves created? Strategically, that doesn't make sense.

So bad strategy right 😭😭

I still enjoyed the movie though. Peter Jackson's films are what got me interested in Tolkien.

Yeah pretty cool movie

What an idiot move from these fairies…🤦🏻♂️ there is a pefect shieldwall. Stand behind them and use your bows…

And peak stupidity. Shield walls were formidible formations, stopping a charge and letting the enemy break itself upon it. Jumping the wall and engaging in feirce hand to hand with an enemy at charge and full strength is just one reason why this movie made no sense.

Dwarves: perfect shield wall 😤 Elves: hold my bow 🏃♂️💀 10/10 coolest dumbest move in cinema 😂

Saldırın orklar!

This part was so stupid. The dwarves made a wall just for the elves to jump over it and die…

@amyydalaa 💀💀😂

Not really. You have the best wall defender with the best distance fighters... and the distance fighter go cac and wall fighter break wall and fight unpacked XD

Most of the elves didnt d!e tho , I think it was just part of the coordinated tactics between the elves and the dwarves to break the orc line

Just make no sense to me. I like that movie but the battle was cheap for me. Not much people, barely two armies... Less than one hundred peasant humans don't make an army to me. And no sence of tactic but at the beguining when dwarfs vs elf.

Yeah I totally got your point . Peter Jackson owes us a befitting battle

Visually this looked so sick but why did they do that!? Let the dwarves hold the shield wall and let the elves tether them with arrows.

I like how they actually put some thought into how dwarves might fight instead of just having them run around with axes which is the worst weapon for them to use. Of course it was ruined by the elves being retarded but it's still one of the only good things about the movie.

plot hole elves and dwarves never trained together

But they came together to fight … hahaha 😂

All those elves just died…

Like sacrifice , the strategy was somehow

It was incredibly stupid. It's like making a security gate, then always leaving the door open.

King Thranduil's Grandfather, Oropher, because of his ego, also went against a battle strategy that almost cost the battle and his troops' lives, like father, like son.

As a military buff, this pisses me off. It was a perfect phalanx and the elves, renown masters of archery, decided to jump over it, thus exposing themselves instead of firing arrows from behind the phalanx like any intelligent fighter would.

I love this movie so much, the fight scene is crazy 🔥

I still hate the elves. Instead of acting like the best archers in middle earth and providing fire support, while relying on the dwarves to do what they specialize in, they act like arrogant idiots and go straight into a melee.

Never watched the movie but... why would u jump over the shield before the charge gets to it? You would face the charge full force and render the shield wall useless. And then dwarves charge... I guess lances have elves detectors to avoid them... geez.

They form shield wall but shielded nobody.

Stupidity on film

This looks like garbage. Hobbit movies are trash compared to LotR

Peak stupid. Elves broke the defensive that would have broken thousands of orcs on it. Dwarves could have feigned weakness and retreated the center of their wall to give the ends a flank. Then and only then should the Elf fighters have gotten anywhere near that killbox.

You think this is peak cinema? That's a seriously retarded take.

What if they make those stupid scenes just to we keep talking about it?

This CGI was a the thing that ruined modern cinema

@BrooklynsOwn90

Let’s not fire arrows over the wall.

That's how a shield wall works. 🙂

The hobbit : Battle of the five armies is a good watch

It may have been peak cinema but tactically it's a stupid move. They get that one strike and then they are stuck between the enemy and an iron wall behind them. Those elves are dead they just don't know it yet.
