This is one of the more popular restaurant concepts in China nowadays, with dozens of chains around it: whole roasted fish, served in a large sizzling tray swimming in a bubbling sauce of your choice (like mala, pickled pepper, garlic, etc.), atop a bed of vegetables, noodles or tofu. And just like hotpot has its regional varieties all around China (Sichuan hotpot, Mongolia hotpot, etc.), so does roasted fish. We're now in a Xinjiang roasted fish chain restaurant called "Mayouyu" where they roast the fish in a Uyghur naan oven and serve the fish with... you'll have guessed it... Uyghur naans 😅 It's actually super good: to each their taste but I'm a much bigger fan of roasted fish than hotpot personally! I'm surprised this concept hasn't caught up in the West yet (to my knowledge): it's really awesome! It might have to do with the fact that people in the West aren't used to eat fish whole, instead always having it served filleted. They don't know what they miss!

Trump: But they have no water artificially. They reroute it because they want to save— There's a fish— Delta smelt. By the way, the Delta smelt is doing extremely badly.. they think they have a fish and their way of saving the fish is not to give it water.

“It looks very fishy” If it looks like and fish and smells like a fish, it’s a fish. Fishy.

Stop laying your fish flat on the grill. This is how you should be doing it. Skewered. Vertical. Salt-roasted over live fire. It’s easier than it looks, and the results are better than anything you’ve been doing. Big thanks to E-Fish for supplying the beautiful fish for this recipe. You won't want to miss this episode of Wild Game Kitchen. Catch it on Tastemade. Recipes are on my website and the Tastemade cooking app. What's your favorite little fish to cook?

This is the fish and chip that time forgot they are one of the only ones that still use coal. But the fish and chips look absolutely delicious 😋 and people who have eaten their fish and chips say it is the best they’ve ever had.

Adult eagles have mastered the art of plucking a fish from the water’s surface. I don’t think they like to get wet because they put forth so much effort in avoiding it. Pay close attention to this one’s talons as it passes the fish to its beak. It opens them one at a time and slides that poor fish right on out. Glad I’m not a fish.
