They Don’t Get It. We Do. Mainstream Democratic leaders still think this is about body cams and reform. But ICE isn’t malfunctioning. It’s functioning exactly as designed — as a private army weaponized against migrants and Black and brown communities. Let’s be clear: this is not “law enforcement.” This...

PabloReports: What do you make of DHS’s change today, where immigration agents will no longer be conducting vehicular stops after the killings in Houston and Maine? Ansari: Well, they just murdered two people in a week, so that’s the bare minimum they should do. I think ICE has been this paramilitary force for Donald Trump and Stephen Miller now for well over a year and a half, throughout the entirety of the second Trump presidency. They have fatally shot 11 people. They have locked up tens of thousands in horrific detention centers across this country because they want two private prison companies to make money. I think ICE should be abolished. I think we need to prosecute the people who are carrying out these crimes. But it also shows that when Americans speak up—when Americans call their members of Congress and organize protests—it does make a difference. Americans, by and large, are outraged by ICE now. ICE is extremely unpopular. Donald Trump is underwater as it pertains to his immigration enforcement policies. So, yeah, the administration is realizing this. But let’s not give them any accolades for it. This is not something that ever should have happened in the first place. ICE should not be operating this way. What they’re doing is not law enforcement. It’s not immigration enforcement. It’s outright murder, and it needs to be stopped.

A teenager. A U.S. citizen. Detained by ICE at a courthouse. This isn’t law and order—this is intimidation. It doesn’t protect our communities; it undermines them. It violates the trust people need to safely access the justice system. It wastes law-enforcement resources that should be focused on real dangers, not innocent kids. We must condemn this and demand accountability. America is better than this.

NEW: Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar issues statement on the deadly ICE-involved shooting, calling ICE’s actions “unconscionable and reprehensible:" “This administration has shown, yet again, that it does not care about the safety of Minnesotans. Instead of protecting our communities, they are unleashing violence—terrorizing neighborhoods and now killing a civilian.” “This is not law enforcement. It is state violence. It is simply indefensible, and ICE must be held accountable.” The Story

AOC: “We must abolish ICE. This is not an extremist position. ICE is not structured as any sort of recognizable law enforcement agency even if they are labeled as such. They are not subject or structured in any way to even resemble law enforcement. There is no accountability. You cannot assert your constitutional rights in these facilities. These black box detention centers are for-profit institutions. They exist to house bodies and that is one of the many reasons it should be abolished”

You will not find any Anti ICE protesters here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, if they were stupid enough to try , this is what they would meet, and it wouldn't be pretty, and we wouldn't need law enforcement to deal with them.

"This was just something they could use to posture and attack our ICE law enforcement officers...That's what is so irresponsible about it." @Sec_Noem At a time that ICE law enforcement faces a 1,000% increase in assaults and their family members are being doxxed and targeted, the sitting Governor of California signed unconstitutional legislation that strips law enforcement of protections in a disgusting, diabolical fundraising and PR stunt.

What happened before Mayor Baraka’s arrest needs daylight. Did masked ICE agents let him in just so they could arrest and perp walk him for show—like they did that judge? Because that’s what it looks like. There’s no acceptable scenario where law enforcement should be masked while arresting a sitting mayor. We are sliding into fascism—and fast. And if we don’t stop it now, we may not get another chance.

Jayapal: I’m somebody who feels like it doesn’t matter what you want to call it, but we have to disband ICE. We have to abolish ICE. Whatever word you want to use, what we need to get to is the end result: ICE should not exist as it exists. And DHS should not exist as it exists. There’s no reason for DHS to exist. Immigration is a civil enforcement matter. It is not criminal. And that’s what people keep not understanding. It is a civil enforcement matter. It used to be handled out of the Department of Justice as a civil matter. Now it’s been criminalized. It’s been put into this massive agency that was created after 9/11 that should not be there. It is completely unaccountable and sprawling.

Former DHS Chief of Staff: This administration continues to say they have seen no instances of ICE agents operating against DHS policy. They are lying through their teeth. We have daily documentation of ICE officers not just violating DHS policy, but violating the law and the Constitution. This is not a series of one-offs. This has become systemic, and it is being driven by the top.

A Democrat Tennessee state rep. just openly called to abolish ICE on CNN. Scott Jennings let him hang himself with his own words. Scott Jennings asked Justin Pearson a series of questions — NONE of which he had an answer for. PEARSON: “This administration cannot be trusted and they can’t be trusted to hold themselves accountable.” “Even after the killing of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, they didn’t want to share information about what was happening, which is why we have to abolish ICE.” “We have to abolish the Customs and Border Patrol and the way they currently exist, and replace them with something that actually does the work that we need for them to, which is why we need a Congress—” JENNINGS: “Which work is that, by the way?” PEARSON: “I’ll tell you what the work is not, the work is not killing American citizens.” JENNINGS: “No. You said the work we need them to do. I’m interested in your opinion. What is work we need them to do?” PEARSON: “The work is not killing American citizens.” JENNINGS: “No. What is work we need them to do?” PEARSON: “Well, first let’s look at what they don’t need to do. They don’t need to go into communities like Memphis, Tennessee.” JENNINGS: “Do they need to deport illegal aliens? Do they need to deport illegal aliens?! Can you say it?” “Can you say it?” “Do we need a federal law enforcement agency to deport illegal aliens, yes or no?” PEARSON: “We do need a federal law enforcement agency that deals with immigration that doesn’t kill people.” JENNINGS: “Is there a single illegal alien that you would deport?” “Name one. Is there one?” “So the answer is no?” “Is the Democratic position for 26, that there are no illegal aliens that should be deported?”

They knew this map was wrong… and they voted for it anyway. Ron DeSantis and his allies pushed a redistricting plan that strips power from our communities—and too many Republicans fell in line out of fear, not principle. Let’s call it what it is: No backbone. No courage. No respect for the Constitution. You took an oath to serve the people—not protect your party. If you know something is unconstitutional and still vote for it, that’s not leadership… that’s cowardice. This is bigger than politics. This is about fairness, representation, and the future of our communities. We’re watching. And come election time, we will remember. #Redistricting #FloridaPolitics #HoldThemAccountable #WeFightWeWin #District20 MakeSureYoureOnTheRightSideOfHistory

MS NOW: “My question to you is, it’s one thing to say let’s abolish ICE, but then what do you replace it with?” ABDUL EL-SAYED: “Well, as you well know, ICE has nothing to do with the southern border. That’s Customs and Border Protection.” “I believe in a secure border. I also believe in immigration enforcement, but I also believe in not shooting Americans in the back of the head, in the face while you’re trying to do it.” “And maybe it’s because I’ve served in government agencies, but once a government agency like that is told that it has impunity to do the worst things and violate the highest law of the land, which is the Constitution itself, I don’t think you can reform or retrain that.” “I think we need to start from scratch.” “And ICE is not very old. It’s 15 years younger than I am… it was a bad experiment. It’s been weaponized to do the worst things.” “And I think we need to abolish it and start from scratch.”

Mamdani: We want to make it clear that our city does not simply oppose the actions of ICE, but that we are not going to be complicit with those actions either. And that means making sure that every single city agency is in compliance with our sanctuary city policies. Now, if you don’t know what a sanctuary city policy is, I’ll describe it this way: it means that we do not allow ICE agents into our schools, our hospitals, our city property unless they can provide a judicial warrant signed by a judge. It means that we don’t assist ICE with their civil immigration enforcement. It means that we make clear that we are proud of our heritage as an immigrant city.

This is absolutely disgusting. Listen to this Minneapolis pastor talk about how he was assaulted by ICE! “An ICE agent literally came over to me and said, ‘what did you say?’ I said ‘I am not afraid,’ and they pointed a gun in my face. ICE put handcuffs on my hands and put me in a black SUV and then a few moments later they came back and they said, ‘are you afraid yet,’ and I said, ‘no,’ and then they said it: ‘Well you're white. You wouldn't be fun anyway.’ It was then that I knew that the staging that these ICE raids are really about fear and intimidation.”

Tom Homan drops the mic on CNN’s Jake Tapper after he attempted to frame ICE as doing things “differently” under the Trump administration. “The laws are EXACTLY the same…If they don’t like what ICE is doing, CHANGE the law.” TAPPER: “Well, I think some of the issues that they’ve raised have to do with ways that ICE is doing its job differently now than they were doing it, even in the first Trump administration…” HOMAN: “The laws are exactly the same. Let’s talk about the masks.” “You don’t see ICE wearing masks inside the airports because they’re not on the street arresting criminals. You got the agitators who cross the line and threaten ICE agents.” “The same people in the Democratic Congress that want ICE to take off the masks are the same people who say ICE is going to shoot people inside airports. I mean, you can’t have it both ways!” “So if you want ICE to take the masks off, the threat level has to decrease. It’s an 8,000% increase in threats against ICE officers. And that’s because a lot of the rhetoric coming from the Hill.” “Stop calling ICE Nazis and racists. Stop saying they’re going to shoot people inside airports. That’s going to drive the threat level down. And we can talk about masks.” “So, you know, we got to work together on this, but ICE is doing the same thing they’ve done during the 40 years I’ve been doing it. Again, they’re enforcing the laws that they enacted. If they don’t like it, change the law.” “The law hasn’t changed. The difference is, under the last four years of Joe Biden, they weren’t enforcing the law. Now ICE is actually enforcing the law, doing their job, and they don’t like it. If they don’t like what ICE is doing, change the law.”

Where is NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams? While families in our communities are burying their kids, we don’t need tweets… we need presence. Be outside. Be visible. Be on the front lines. Because right now, it feels like leadership is loud online but quiet in the streets. And let’s talk about it— The messaging around closing Rikers, Raise the Age, and bail reform is being received as: “There are no real consequences.” Whether that’s the intent or not… that’s how it’s landing. And when young people believe there are no consequences, what do you think happens next? This isn’t politics. This is life and death. New Yorkers deserve leadership that shows up in real time, not just on timelines. Jumaane Williams (@jumaane.bsky.social) — we need to see you. Not later. Now. #nyc #ny #fyp

CNN tried to get DHS’ Tricia McLaughlin to DENOUNCE an ICE recruitment poster because they claimed it was tied to “White Nationalism.” Not only did McLaughlin refuse—she ate their lunch live on air, calling out the absurdity for everyone watching. BROWN: “There’s an ICE recruiting poster and it read quote; ‘We’ll have our home again.’ That’s gone viral.” “That phrase is cited as having ties to White Nationalist groups in the U.S. and Canada, and a database of symbols maintained by the global project against hate and extremism.” “I want to let you explain that. And also, even if this is not intentional, do you denounce this? If this could be seen as a dog whistle to White supremacists?” MCLAUGHLIN: “We’ll have our home again is now a White Nationalist dog whistle? I mean, what are they even referring…what is that dog whistle to?” “By the way, I knew…I had a feeling you would ask me about this.” “There’s no reason that we should be manufacturing outrage.” BROWN: “It’s not.” MCLAUGHLIN: “It is actually.” “There are plenty of policy disagreements we should be having, and I, I really believe we should be having.” “Manufacturing fake outrage is not that. There are plenty of poems. There are plenty of songs. There are plenty of books with the same title and the fact that people would like to cherry pick something of White Nationalism to make some sort of connection to DHS law enforcement…” “Well, it’s no wonder we’re seeing such vast, rampant assaults against our law enforcement. It’s no wonder Secretary Noem is facing so many threats against her life, I am, Tom Homan, across the board is because of garbage like this and people choosing to manufacture outrage.” “I think it’s quite frankly, embarrassing.” The interview was quickly ended.
