Oral contraceptives don't work when they're destroying song bird nests and killing our native red squirrels. Culling greys which are not native anyway, is the most effective way to protect our native red squirrels.

Statements of true fact, Gareth wins. Pox vaccination for red squirrels doesn’t exist. There is a petition to the Welsh Senedd to start a project. Oral contraceptive programme is just entering field trials so not available. Habitat modification is irrelevant as they can’t cohabit

They do need to be culled if you want to see the return of red squirrels and also if you want to protect native song birds and their nests. I've no idea who this woman is but would it not have been better to have someone on from .@WildlifeTrusts or @Natures_Voice to talk facts.
