Maybe hold your hitters accountable for not adjusting to the umpires strike zone. All three were low, so clearly the umpire has a low strike zone. If your hitters adjust to that, then you’ll swing at those instead of it being a strike looking.

TV Box is not 100% accurate. 1st pitch clearly a strike. 2nd pitch is close but low, probably a ball but not egregious call. 3rd pitch is borderline; might be low but batter drops back knee which gives appearance that it’s at the bottom of the zone. Could go either way

That last pitch was a strike. Box is wrong. That pitch cross at the knees. Both of them. Watch the last 2 seconds it’s a strike.

To be fair those are tough to call... the catchers body blocks low pitches. But the Ump is paid to make those calls [supposedly] so they need to learn how to view the action down low.

These are incredibly close. High and low are much more subjective and difficult compared to in and out.

Umpires have never been more accurate yet we’ve never had more complaining from the armchair umps. Get rid of the stupid boxes & go back & watch any game Maddux pitched. More importantly when GM was around the zone & getting extra we didn’t have all this bitching from the hitters
