For the record, according to the Tuskegee University's archive, which is the nation’s most complete record of lynchings between 1882 and 1968, 4,743 people were lynched — including 3,446 African Americans and 1,297 whites.  Yes, almost 1300 whites were lynched as well. However, that's not what I wanted to focus on. I wanted to show that more blacks are killed by other blacks in this nation, in any given year, than all of the lynchings that occurred between the above years. I've also included a screen shot since many who see their narratives crushed won't even look at the facts.
