I had high hopes for @JamesGunn when he took the reigns of the DC universe. He's been nothing but a huge disappointment. Each project that's been released has been worse than the previous and the future looks just as bleak.

You should watch the episode. It was stupid and you are right they screwed up the story but technically they gave a somewhat coherent explanation to why it was in his grave.

Dude, it's DC, they're not exactly known for their correct & accurate portrayal of the source material. They've destroyed Superman/Supergirl, they wrecked the DCEU, which had some potential & was at least watchable & they're just spinning their wheels with everything else...

What did you expect Sir? It’s been written by the same barely functioning moron who did The Leftovers and butchered The Watchmen series. That guy isn’t exactly batting 1.000. In an interview he literally said the “Green” in Green Lantern sucked and that’s why it’s just Lanterns.

So glad I decided never to watch this cause Green Lantern is my favorite hero/organization and The Wars Of Light is my #1 favorite comic run ever. This would've pissed me off to no end cause it sounds like it was written by people who don't understand how things work. Also ain't it "racist" to make John Stewart, a black man, a grave robber? Ignoring the fact that the ring was decommissioned by the guardians, and John had Guy bring it over. 4 people know or care where Hal buried let alone know that guy ring isn’t Hal’s ring. I understand not liking the show but at least watch the episode to criticize it properly

Supposedly from what I watched they had Hal’s ring decommissioned when he got locked up, so John asked the new Lantern to go get it, so he could be buried with it and his suit, well he comes back to dig up and steal it later, and it works LOL 😂

You can really tell the people that are writing, recent comic book stuff have not read the comics at all And with everything being digitized these days, there is no excuse

As a writer, I like how that part worked out. Hologram Hal probably wouldn't believe he was dead without proof, so having the real Hal laying there in his grave served more than one purpose. I didn't mind it as much as you did.

I believe you answered your own question, unfortunately. Green Lantern is your favorite comic book character (like millions of other folks). WE LOVE HIM. And that my friend, is why they’re ruining it. That, and so many of our childhood favorites. And it’s for this reason, I despise leftists even more than I already did. Fuck ‘em!
