Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said that if Europe attacks Russia, the war will be different and “very short” “If Europe, which talks every day about preparing for war against Russia, attacks the Russian Federation, it will already be a completely different war, and it will be very short,” Lavrov said. He stressed that Moscow would treat the deployment of Western military contingents in Ukraine as a declaration of war on Russia.

MICHAEL WEISS: Ukraine is not losing the war. Ukraine is a winner on global stage. United States has to appreciate that. Even Russians beginning to appreciate it. When Zelenskyy can threaten Russia and say, “You guys afraid of having proper Victory Day parade on Red Square because of fear of our drones.” And this was again supposed to be three-day conflict, with Russian troops and Russian columns at Polish border within two weeks. That is nothing short of breathtaking state of affairs. That is development very few people in analytic community saw coming.

In today’s Russian papers: Victory Day parade on Red Square to be scaled-back. Plus, Russia’s Digital Development Minister pledges to “fulfil the task of reducing VPN use” in Russia. One option: “the introduction of civil liability for using a VPN.” #ReadingRussia

Geopolitics expert Alexander Mercouris on how Russia views the war in Ukraine: “The view here in Russia is that if it had been a fight between Russia and Ukraine, the war would have ended long ago. Rather, it is a conflict between Russia and the entire collective West.”

There will only be losers in the Ukraine War. Russia will achieve an ugly victory (not total). Then the war ends as a frozen conflict with rump Ukraine with Europe’s backing on one side and Greater Russia on the other. This will begin a new Cold War…1/2

Question: Trump said he had a really good call with President Putin yesterday. Will Russia be aiding us in this conflict and can you share anything on that? Hegseth: I was not on it, but those that were said it was a strong call, reaffirming hopefully the opportunity for some for some peace in Russia, Ukraine and also a recognition that as it pertains to this conflict, they should not be involved.

Dr. Dmitri Trenin: ‘Russia🇷🇺 is waging a long war in Ukraine🇺🇦…victory over Ukrainian descendants of HITLERISM and Europe’s elites will take a long time.’ ‘Russia’s policies and the principal goals of the special military operation, will take, I would say a long time to accomplish. It means that although the operation itself in a limited form, will succeed, I’m pretty sure that victory will be ours. But beyond that, Russia will face a hostile Europe. It will face elements within Ukraine that will be outside of Russian control that will try to do as much harm to Russia as they can. So it’s going to be a long slog. It’s a long war that Russia is waging today. And it’s not like next year or in two years time, there’ll be peace and Russians and Europeans will celebrate together as they did for a long time, after the end of the Cold War. It’s going to take so much more time and it will take so much more effort on our side to reach the goal and to achieve victory. But as I said, victory will be ours. But it doesn’t mean that it will be victory over Europe or over Ukraine. It will be a victory against those elements in Ukraine that are branded Nazi, meaning ultra-nationalist and ideological descendants of Hitlerism… And those forces in Europe, primarily among the elites that have built Russia into a bogeyman again and that use the Russia threat for their own ulterior motives.’ -Dr. Dmitri Trenin, Member of Russia’s Foreign and Defence Policy Council, on Going Underground, as Russia celebrates Victory Day Watch the full interview in the quoted post below👇

GEN. GRYNKEWICH: Russia invaded Ukraine thinking it would be a two-week war. As a friend of mine recently said: "The hardest part of a short two-week war is the first couple of years". I think Putin has learned that the hard way.

Putin's main propagandist complains that the US attack on Iran isn't fair because Trump didn't ask Congress and that it is a "very unpleasant situation for Russia" and that "it would be very difficult for Russia to enter into this conflict" due to the "ongoing special military operation in Ukraine".

🇺🇸 🇺🇦 ALEX CHRISTOFOROU: THE U.S. CAN IMPOSE ANY CONDITIONS IT WANTS ON ZELENSKY “The U.S. can impose whatever they want on Zelensky. If they really want to impose any conditions on him, they can absolutely do it. They have that power. They haven’t done it because they’re in a proxy conflict with Russia. That’s what this is, a proxy war between the United States and Russia. Ukraine is just being used as the proxy. Trump could have stopped intelligence sharing, weapons, all of it, the next day he was in office, and this thing would have ended.” Source: Alex Christoforou

🚨 President Trump just dropped this line on the Russia-Ukraine war, saying he's PUSHING HARD FOR PEACE: "They're losing 25,000 mostly soldiers PER MONTH." "We're working on it. I think we're making progress. It's a very violent war, a lot of hatred in that war." "I settled 8 wars. Thought this would be easier, it turned out to be the most difficult. Progress is being made." The peace president!

☢️☢️☢️ Nuclear war In the event of a nuclear conflict between Russia and NATO, it is estimated that 98-99% of the population in the US, EU, Russia, and China would perish. This thought-provoking video sheds light on the utter futility of engaging in a nuclear conflict that would devastate the entire northern hemisphere. The goal is to instill a deep sense of fear regarding the consequences of a nuclear war and cultivate a strong desire for negotiation. It's evident that any alternative to the death of 99% of the northern hemisphere's population would be preferable.

Who would have thought that the old Yak-52 training planes would get a new lease on life in the war in Ukraine and would be shooting down Russian drones. So cool!
