"Starlink might be the #1 technology over time that improves people's standard of living around the world." - Elon Musk Starlink will enable high speed access for remote villages/towns around the world that otherwise would lack access. This potentially enables education and opportunity to reach literally the entire earth. I think for a portion of the world's population, especially the most poor, Starlink has potentially to radically make a difference. Lots of things to be optimistic about the future. This is one of them.

Elon Musk just explained how Starlink moves the GDP of entire nations. The formula is so simple it should embarrass every development agency on the planet. Musk: “GDP is a function of average productivity per person.” Productivity per person goes up. GDP goes up. That is the whole equation. Everything else is decoration. And connectivity is the single largest lever on Earth for pushing that number. A lot of people live their entire life tied to a desk, working fixed hours to help build someone else’s dream… only to finally live in fulfillment when they are old. My office can be anywhere. A hotel, a lake, a mountain, a beach, or the middle of nowhere. As long as I have Starlink, I can stay connected, share my thoughts, and keep building the life I want to live. That freedom is something I NEVER take for granted. Reliable internet to me has become essential for work, communication, education, business, everything I do on the daily. That’s why I believe Starlink is one of the most important technologies of our time.
