I was in the invasion, the air campaign was only a few days to a week long. It wasn’t Desert Storm long. Pretty much everything else he said was accurate, minus IEDs. IEDs didn’t show up until months after the invasion.

Early GWOT was a crazy time, it was the merging of old cold war doctrine and modern irregular war. The sandbags were old tactics from back during the cold war to counter mine shrapnel, and it worked on some if the early smaller IEDs for a short time which were basically small mortars and TNT blocks.
