After watching that piece of trash called "Lanterns"—which only served to destroy the Lantern lore, tell John's story in a shitty way, and completely shit all over Hal Jordan...

hal jordan has immeasurably more story in the comics than Jon Stewart or Guy Gardener. Jon was initially picked to substitute for hal & guy. Yet they opted for a fading Hal and a rising Jon itself speaks toward the fact they deliberately chose a woke narrative over actual story.

At what point did the story say it picked hal because he's white? Exactly, because that didn't fucking happen. Hal wasn't the first pick, he was the first to not be afraid but you'd have to pay attention to know that.

I don’t think they realize what they’re doing to John. They’re making this less about John being the right guy for the job and more about him being owed it (in part due to his dad)/easier to manipulate than Hal.
