Never.” Ro Khanna is trying to make the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, both groups that vary widely in skin tone, fit into an American conception of race. For people who resent American imperialism, it’s really shocking how much they impose an American worldview onto completely incompatible situations.

For once, I agree with Jesse Jackson Jr. Whatever you thought of Rev. Jackson, his funeral should have been about honoring the man and his legacy. Instead, former Presidents Clinton, Obama, and Biden turned the pulpit into a political stage. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson made a self-serving political speech too — using the same tired talking points he throws at me during City Hall press conferences. Shame on them. Watch.
