Friday 17th July NAP OF THE DAY 🏇💥 Hamilton 19:50 - Plaid 5/1 "Posted last night in Apex" Plaid looks great value in this Listed race. She bolted up by 8 lengths at Hamilton over 1mile1f before a below-par effort at Goodwood but that is easy to forgive it was in a much stronger race and on soft ground that didn’t suit. Back on a good surface at a track she clearly likes, and with the benefit of a recent run under her belt, she makes plenty of appeal. James Fanshawe has an excellent record with fillies that are improving and stepping through the grades with Sky Safari and Pina Sonata being notable examples, Currently rated 89, she’s bred to keep progressing with racing and age out of Ghaiyyath I can see her developing into a Group-class performer and being rated 100+ before long. I think the step up around 2f will suite based on her breeding and how well she coped with the strongly run contest at the track Crystal Flyer set very fast fractions from the front and faded tamely but Plaid brezzed past the field to win pratically on the bridle. While Superior Choice arrives in excellent order looking to complete a hat-trick at 1/1 he is a little too short favourite for the Gosden team costing a huge 1.1million gns. At 5/1 11/2 in places Plaid is priced purely on her official rating rather than her potential and course form, i think she will shorten dramatically by race time. Winning at Hamilton 2 starts ago ⬇️🎥

This is a $3,000 service hiding in plain sight. The build costs under $9. Every town is full of brick and mortar businesses with 5-star reviews and websites that look like 2002. Plumbers. Landscapers. Dentists. Med spas. Here's the play we ran: 1. Pointed an agent at our local market and had it surface businesses with great reviews and terrible websites. They already have demand and money. They just look bad online. 2. Had the agent find the business's basic info and let it build out their entire digital presence automatically. 3. Added a speed to quote agent so every inbound lead gets an instant quote back with zero human touch (we built this live for a mechanic in the episode) 4. The whole thing ran under $9 in token spend. Tune Studio is an end-to-end platform for developing applications using Large Language Models. So far, I haven't seen any other platform like this one. You can do everything here: 1. You can curate your data. 2. Use the playground to play with different models and try your ideas. 3. Fine-tune an open-source model on your data. 4. Deploy the model when you are done. This is awesome for anyone building generative AI applications. You can use Tune Studio to work with any of the open-source models out there. They were one of the few companies to host Llama 2 and Llama 3 before anyone else. Here is a link to check it out: One of their main selling points is that Tune Studio scales! You don't have to worry about serving your model to lots of users. They also have built-in user management, authentication, on-prem support, user context management, and pretty much everything you need to build generative AI applications. The frontier labs will crush you. That’s the first thing first friends say when I tell them I’m working on agents for biological research. It’s what I thought too before I started learning about biological agents. Now I’m convinced this space will be dominated by small teams building narrowly scoped, domain-specific models that uniquely embrace the complexity of living systems. So I’m diving in with a team of scientists and engineers who spent years watching models fail in real research settings - and built the “scar tissue” to understand why. We’re building Applied Scientific Intelligence, and some of the early results are encouraging: our models for biological data analysis & literature rank #1 on global benchmarks - outperforming ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, as well as AI science companies with deep pockets (we’re still bootstrapped ;)). This recently caught the attention of NVIDIA and we partnered with them on our latest model: a new literature agent called “Alexandria” that’s going live in alpha this coming week. Estimates put the number of researchers at 9-10M globally. I think this number spikes in the next years as science starts to compound like software. ONE PAN ROASTED CHICKEN & VEGGIES The crazy thing about this recipe is, the veggies are the best part. The key is to place the veggies below the chicken, and when it’s done cooking, to turn off the heat and let the veggies continue cooking with the residual heat. It becomes soft and soaked with the chicken juices and SO good. 📖 Want 100 high protein + flavorful recipes with macros included in every recipe? You can use 2lbs of thighs, drumsticks, or any chicken piece you like. Drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil. Season with salt & pepper, the zest + juice of a large lemon, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp oregano, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, & 1 tbsp sweet paprika. To add flavor and color, add 2 tbsp tomato paste and 4 minced garlic cloves. Mix really well, and ideally marinade for at least 2hrs (overnight is best). use whatever veggies you like. I used 2 medium sweet potato, a large handful broccoli florets, and 1 large shallot. 4.Cut the sweet potato in smaller wedges (so they cook all the way through) and place them at the bottom of an oven safe dish or a pan (this is key!) Then add the broccoli and 1 thinly sliced shallot. Drizzle with olive oil, season with a pinch of salt, 1/2 tbsp oregano, and 1/2 tbsp garlic powder. the chicken on top of the veggies, and if there is any leftover chicken marinate add all of it. Pop into the oven at 400F for 40 mins. ***At the end, turn off the heat then let the pan sit in the oven for 20-30 minutes without the heat on to soften up the veggies and soak up the flavors even more. 6.While that’s going, grab a sauce or just mix 3 tbsp mayo with 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 minced garlic clove, the zest and juice of 1 small lemon, and a pinch of salt. 7.Remove pan from the oven, plate it up, top with finely chopped fresh parsley, a little sauce, and enjoy.
