I think what this gentleman is saying is that oppression IS when the government allows your family to rape you for punishment, throw acid on you or toss you off a roof. It is NOT being called by the wrong pronouns.

These protestors are little more than bullying thugs. They are either completely ignorant about the truth of the regime in Iran, or they do know and support a repressive regime that murders its own citizens in vast numbers and treats women as property.
