Think Anderson’s “defensive scanning” could need some work. He does check his shoulders, but does it “prematurely”, so he ends up registering the situation before it develops. Movement on his blindside could be a way for opponents to break his gates.

Top work as always! Always thought he lacks that spacial awareness in some situations and at times acts like a ball magnet when defending. This is why I wanted him alongside Rodri. Hopefully he'll improve with time. Great work once again!

Appreciate it mate! Agreed yeah, noticed it last season with Forest and was waiting for enough "proof" in a City shirt to make a post.

Not saying the goals above are his fault but he definitely could’ve done better in those situations.

Incredible analysis as always my bro. That last one tho I think is a bit harsh. The ball is too close to him for him to worry about anything else in that moment at least while the ball carrier is actively running towards him

Thank you bro. Yes totally agree. I even think his reaction to the pass was good given the circumstances. But the idea that he still wasn’t aware of what was happening behind him, hence why I decided to add it.

He has that tendency, but here the CB i think is Quansah, is just too passive. Track the run, you’re 1v1 with no danger wide. Be sticky , if the player get the ball, you got him cover.

Finally someone seeing this. I’m done trying to highlight this I’ll just wait until that Barca game

That goal happened because Kane didn’t press the centre backs.

Nothing wrong he did here. Spain got midfielders playing in defense. Laporte and Curbasi can pick any pass they want!

The first video was you overthinking, Kane is the one most likely to intercept , the second video makes more sense

Hopefully he improves Wasn’t a dm in Newcastle
