Thinking about how good these beta gravity falls theme songs were

The first one being—- what I think is a 7/8 signature?? With a repeating and oscillating guitar and bass, instruments morphing around. Even the structure of it tells a story of entering what appears to just be an ol regular boring woodsey town, and then you start noticing things… and you start suspecting things, and then it’s finally confirmed how strange and cool the place you are is! So good!

And the second one—- sounding like a tropical kinda tourist trappy vibe, that is fighting so hard to hide that it’s actually a horror show but it keeps bursting out between the sales pitch. “Come visit us, if you dare!”

They're alright I guess but for Gravity Falls they don't really fit with the show and tbh the lyrics are kinda ass

Are the “lyrics” actually bad or do you just not like the performance of them. Cause I think the lyrics are good just wordy 🤔

Look, I love neil, but that lyrical song was straight ass imo. Or at least it's not nearly as catchy as "made me realize"

Alex must have REALLY wanted Neil to make a official song for the series This and the Cut Bill song are both really good Shame they didn’t get the chance to add them like they wanted

i edited the first one with both the regular and the weirdmageddon intro and honestly i don’t hate it, obviously the pacing would be different but i think it fits pretty good with the weirdmageddon intro!
