Even tho Ilya brushed it off, Shane sees right through his act and he is conscious how much his running away last time actually hurt Ilya. So it's so important that Shane acknowledged that and apologized for it. Cause contrary to what Ilya certainly believed, it wasn't anything HE did that made Shane flee, it was just Shane's own fears/insecurities talking. To reach that level of intimacy with Ilya, calling each other's names, that was one step too much at that time.. But it was NOT Ilya's fault. He needed to hear that, truly 😭 #hollanov #heatedrivalry
