Three or four years ago I was asked to help make driver introductions more fun for everyone. No one knew what that meant exactly so I did what I do best and just started winging it… I want to thank our group for first putting me on stage and all the early mornings; and all of our DJs… Thank you to everyone up and down pit road for the love after every show… To the drivers for trusting me and leaning into that one moment across the stage… And most importantly all the fans that brought the energy every time. No matter what track we were at, what new shtick we were trying ya’ll rocked with me and I can’t thank you enough! I didn’t know the last time was going to be the last time and didn’t get a chance to tell you all how much I appreciate you! Cheers to the End of the Beginning. 🫶🏾 See you at the track! #GDTBA

Tyrese Maxey has transformed into an All-NBA candidate. Drew Hanlen explains how: “I felt like I messed up last summer with Tyrese because the whole summer we prepared for him to be better in a two-man game with Joel. And it was all about how can you kind of be that second guy to Joel. We were doing is a lot of dribble handoffs. And then Joel didn't play last season and they weren't able to win games.” “And Tyrese still had a good year.—27 or 28 a game or whatever it was, but it was like he wasn't able to carry his team to wins. And it was because he wasn't, in my opinion, prepared enough. We didn't train him to be the number one.” “And so this summer we said, hey, listen, now that you've got those skills with Joel, if Joel comes back and is like what we hope he is, you still have those, but we need to turn you into kind of a more number one option. And so we shifted our focus in the summer and really focused on like, how do you thrive if Joel isn't on the court? 🗣️: Getting back together as BIGBANG to release another song and promote, and coordinating our schedules—that wasn’t exactly easy, was it? 🐉: I never really thought about whether it was easy or not before. We were all with the same agency, but this time, since it’s our 20th anniversary, we’d been working out a rough plan among the members for the past year or two. But when it actually came time to do it, we were all with different agencies now, so we’d just be together in our group chat, saying, “Let’s do it this way,” and that was it - “I’ll talk to my agency, and you talk to yours,” We couldn’t decide right away, so we shared the plan with our companies. After that, we gathered feedback from our respective companies and discussed it again. It took longer to make a decision than before. 🌞: BIGBANG is still signed to YG, you know. There are just more steps we have to go through.

Our goal at that time sitting in that room, we wanted to play together for a long time. You know after 4 years going to the finals each year, the taxing of our body, mentally what we was dealing with everyday. I think for everybody when we broke up it was kind of a breath of fresh air. The game that he came into, the duress that he was under, the style of defense they were playing at the time. The amount of blitzes that we had seen was probably the most we had seen in the six years I’d been here. At the time, he was our third quarterback to come in that year, so it wasn’t looking very good. But he didn’t hesitate, and right away, he was making plays. gunwook about customize 🥹 🦋 how many days did it take? 🧸 for writing it? i've been writing this since the end of january, so at that time, probably only matthew hyung, taerae hyung, and i, just the three of us listened to it together for the first time during the album track selection. we listened to it first at the music video filming site and then the other two probably heard it later. so somehow we managed to develop it well and it just went (….) but i was also really nervous. if the reaction wasn't good, i'd feel like i was burdened with the responsibility but i’m so glad the reaction was so good, seriously
