This 100-year-old Argentinian grandfather has been writing down every single one of Messi’s goals in his notebook since 2003. ✍️❤️ He couldn’t believe his eyes when Leo surprised him with a personal video message. 🥹❤️ Messi: “Hi Hernán! I heard about your story, and honestly, it’s crazy. I don’t... show more

Sadly, Don Hernán passed away in 2022, before Argentina were crowned world champions. His grandson ended up recording Messi's goals from that World Cup in the notebook, to carry on his grandfather's tradition.

Liionel Messi left the Argentina national team with his pride! He was still involved in all 3 goals Argentina scored. This shows that he is leaving on his own terms and not because he is no more their best player. While there’s a lot to be sad about tonight, there’s even more to be proud about, I will choose Messi as the GOAT in a million lifetimes! Thank you for the most illustrious and inspiring career Leo❤️

I’ve told you before that you need to work more than an APC Supporter to compare Messi with anybody😂😂😂 When it comes to catalogue of goals, it’s an area you want to shoot yourself on the foot, like are you being suicid@l?😂 this is a route you should not even tow😂 Messi’s catalogue of goals is unmatched. The number of “wow” goals he has is out of the moon. He’s not a tap in or penalty merchant, he plays mostly outside the box and you can imagine the number of brilliant goals he has, please choose another route. Messi that is still scoring wow goals at 39, not tap ins and penalties. You see the goal against Cape Verde, the heavenly first touch? the strike against Algeria, the way he brought down that shot against Egypt, these are recent wow goals from just last month😂 not penalties or tap ins, he also doesn’t try to steal people’s goals😂😂. Should we be talking about Ankara Messi, the amount of times he’s repeated Ankara Messi not just against Getafe, but against Atletico, do you know the number of solo goals Messi has scored where he’s driven the ball from midfield to beat multiple players? Guy you’re not even scared 😂😂 Is it the mad chip against Real Betis from outside the box, the chip against Madrid to announce himself, the solo goal against Madrid in the UCL, the free kick against Allison or the dribbling to place the ball against De Gea? The one against Neuer where he sat Boateng on the floor? Guy, the number of wow goals in Messi’s catalogue is able to end you, stop going that route and spring up another argument that’ll favor you😅 Another myth is that Messi does not score with his right foot, he does not have to. You still call Ronaldo your GOAT for just being a poacher the bulk of his career, this is why Haaland does effortlessly, meanwhile Messi is not your goat despite doing everything (dribbling, playmaking, etc), and still scores like your GOAT. Yet, your metric for goal scoring is not just getting the ball into the net? Like I said, it’s a myth because Messi even has 112 goals with his right foot lol, I’m sure you didn’t know. He also scores headers when it matters like the one he scored against Cristiano 😂, you ignored free kick goals my guy, out of the box goals Just read everything you’ve written, isn’t it even funny to you? Common laugh at yourself. You’re talking of goal catalogue and you have guts to compare someone who scores goals nobody can fathom with a poacher?😂 You’re comparing Ronaldo with someone who will create and still finish, while him (Ronaldo) is waiting for service? You even missed one important part which is shot conversion. Ronaldo has attempted 5,307 shots Messi has attempted 4,244 That is, Ronaldo has taken 1,000 more shots. Guess who has the higher conversion rate?😂😂😂 Messi is still averaging more goals while having 2,000 more dribbles than Ronaldo, 400 more chances created than Ronaldo, a higher average rating than him, 200+ more MOTM than Ronaldo, 150 more assists😂😂 All of these while Ronaldo has played 12,980 more minutes than Messi. Oh I forgot, Ronaldo also has more penalties than Messi😂 Guy I like you, if you were a Messi stan, you won’t be working this hard😭. Enjoy this one highlight make e remind you small 😂, I go add one or two more for comments for you, just for reminders o because there are even better goals.

This old video of Messi casually talking with fans is so wholesome. 😭❤️ Fan: “Is Suárez going to play?” Messi: “I don’t know. I don’t know if he trained today.” Fan: “We took photos with Suárez yesterday.” Messi: “Really? You saw him?” Fan: “Yeah. He was filming an ad and a friend told us, so we went.” Messi: “An ad for Uruguay, I think.” Fan: “You’re my idol.” Messi: “Did just the three of you come?” Fan: “Yeah, we left the women at home and us men came.” Messi: “You came on your own?” Fan: “Yeah, I swear… we’re in heaven right now.” Fan: “Messi, I have you on my phone, as my wallpaper and even as my password.” Fan: “My phone is brand new and I put you as my wallpaper…” And before Messi leaves: Fan: “Thank you for everything you give to football.” Just Leo being Leo. Just standing there talking to fans and hugging them. ❤️

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Heartfelt Message to Lionel Messi Following the Passing of Jorge Messi 🗣️ “I felt truly heartbroken when I heard the news about the passing of Messi’s father, Jorge Messi. It hit me deeply. First and foremost, may his gentle soul rest in peace. After the initial shock, the first thing I did was call Leo. I told him that I understand how painful it is to lose someone so special, especially your father. I reminded him to stay strong and keep his head high. I know this is one of the lowest points anyone can face, but he needs to find the strength not only for himself but also for his family, who need him now more than ever. Behind closed doors, Leo and I have shared many meaningful moments over the years. He is someone I consider a true friend in the world of football. Because of that, I can feel the pain he is going through right now. There is no rivalry or competition at a moment like this—just two men who respect each other, and one of them is hurting. My thoughts, prayers, and support are fully with Leo, his mother Celia, and the entire Messi family during this difficult time. May Jorge Messi rest in peace.”

Yamal’s football is like a mix of prime Messi and prime Ronaldo. And I’m not talking about Messi and Ronaldo when they were Yamal’s age, I mean their actual prime. The way he dribbles and moves with the ball has that Messi side, but the way he drives at defenders, uses his pace and plays with that confidence reminds me of Ronaldo too. I even went back to watch Messi at 19 and honestly, I don’t think he was playing better than Yamal is playing now. Messi obviously became Messi, but we’re talking about what they were actually doing at that age. If you think they would rival him at his age quote a video to prove your point

🚨🎙️| Asllani: "My greatest dream has always been to play for FC Barcelona. My very first football jersey was a Barcelona one, and from that moment on, I’ve always wanted to represent the club. The generation of players like Suárez, Messi, Neymar, Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets. It has always been my dream to play there, and that has never changed. I know there is still a long road ahead, but I believe it’s essential to have clear goals. Setting goals keeps me motivated." #fcblive 🇽🇰

“Messi doesn’t care about golden boot or individual achievements” This is one of the biggest lies & misinformation that has been spread & peddled for long by Messi slaves and ignorant fans😂 If he doesn’t care about them, why is he always stealing his teammates goals?😭 Why is he taking all the set pieces in the team to inflate his goals and assists? Why is he still taking penalties even though he has missed the last 3 penalties for Argentina? You didn’t say all of this earlier, but you’re waffling and coping now because Mbappe & Olise have taken the golden boot and play maker award from your selfish arrogant goat😭👋

Arabic commentary about Messi has always been different. 💙🇦🇷 “He doesn’t call himself a legend, yet he is one. He doesn’t call himself the master of players, yet he is their master without question. He doesn’t call himself a World Champion, yet he is the world’s champion in the eyes of the world. He doesn’t say, ‘I am Messi,’ because he doesn’t realize that he is Messi… and that is a tragedy.” “Oh Messi, tell me, oh Messi… are you bidding them farewell, or renewing your covenant with them? Oh Messi, your farewell will never be easy for this world. Postpone it, Leo, postpone it. Think well, think hard.” “Haven’t the goals been enough for you? Haven’t the records been enough? Haven’t the titles been enough?” “As long as you have Messi, it is possible. Messi makes the decisions. Messi is the solution.” 💙

🚨🗣| Zico explains his preference for Cristiano Ronaldo in the CR7 x Messi debate.👇 "When people ask me: 'Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo?'. I choose Cristiano. What Messi does, I did too." 🎙| Zico also spoke about Cristiano Ronaldo declaring himself the best in the world: "Yes, he has to say it. People talk about him as if he's just a goalscorer. It's not just that. He's a huge reference for any player. The guy's there at 40 years old running more than a lot of people. I hope he scores 2,000 goals and, if I were starting today, I'd have him as my reference. I still have a wish to meet Cristiano Ronaldo and shake his hand and say thank you for what he does for football and for the footballer, for the professional he is." ❤💪

keeho talked about watching soul achieves his 2026 goals in just 4 months 🥹 [ ] 🐺: everyone, soul is over there (red bull dance your style) dancing really hard right now. since the topic of bucket lists came up.. something really interesting is, i once sat down with shota alone at the dorm and talked. i said that before 2026 i want to properly set clear goals, so i was having all kinds of convo with shota, and actually even in my room i have a big vision board where i’ve cut out & stuck photos. shota asked what that was, so i told him these are things i want to achieve by 2026. then i asked "shota what do you want to achieve in 2026? think about it carefully, it’s good to live with goals". then shota said "my goal is to enter a dance battle". i told him "shota you can definitely do it in 2026", but he said "do you think i can? honestly i don’t think i’ll be able to enter a dance battle. even if i try, i don’t think i’ll have the time". he talked like that, but it’s already april and he’s achieved his goal ☀️: then i guess he can just relax for the remaining 8 months 🐺: ㅋㅋㅋ that’s not it, but when shota talked about it, he didn’t sound confident, he said "i really want to do it but i don’t think i can". he spoke with uncertainty, but i kept telling him "shota you can do it". so i said okay then in 2026 you have to do a dance battle for sure! and seeing it actually happen like this, i think it’s really important to live with goals. please give soul lots and lots of support too 👏🏻

If you want your life to change, start by changing what you feed your mind. I read my goals every single night before I sleep and every single morning when I wake up. Six of them expire every six months. The rest stretch out over two, five, ten, even twenty years. I set them high on purpose- goals that scare me, goals I almost never hit. Because that's how you grow. Science shows most of what we dream about is either what we fear or what we hope will happen. When I wake up, I read them again so I take one action that moves me closer.

Dear Neche 💕 , I honestly don’t know where to begin😢 I never imagined this journey without you by my side🥹 Thank you for being my safe place, my confidant, my biggest comfort, and the person who made this house feel a little more like home. Thank you for every laugh, every conversation, every hug, and every moment we shared. I’ll carry those memories with me for a very long time. Even though this goodbye came sooner than either of us expected, I’m choosing to believe that God is writing an even more beautiful story for you outside these walls🙏🏽 Keep shining, keep winning, I’ll keep making you proud in here, and I know you’ll keep making me proud out there. Go and win outside!💙 I’ll keep fighting in here… and when this journey is over, I’ll be looking forward to that hug 🤗 Until then… thank you for being my person NECHE MADUAGWU🫂💙 #Bluethopia #BBNaija

LeBron James said he needed to go to Miami to accomplish his goals for his career: “I think it’s the whole Heat organization — went down there with the only goal, only mindset I had was to win a championship — felt like I couldn’t do it in my first stint in Cleveland, tried just didn’t feel like it was going to be possible. So I needed to figure out my own path and accomplish the goals that I had, felt like going down there (Miami)….felt like they could possibly put me in the position (for) the goals that I had and was able to accomplish that.” (Feb 22, 2026)

Urban Meyer believes people should stop claiming they want to reach their dreams when their daily habits say otherwise “I always like to say, you’re here, and you want to get there. The fastest way is draw that straight line and stay away from anything that pulls you off of that straight line.” “There’s a great quote actually right over there that says, ‘Do your habits reflect your dreams and goals? And if not, then change.’” “When I had my son, I changed that quote. My son has it up in his bedroom right next to his bed: ‘If your habits don’t reflect your dreams and goals, change your habits, or change your dreams and goals.’ Don’t lie to yourself.” “I hear people say, ‘I want to go play in the NFL,’ but you’re acting like this. Don’t lie. You lie to me, it’s fine. But don’t lie to yourself.” “Then you’ve got to look in the mirror and say, ‘Do I really want to be a first-round draft pick and I’m doing this?’ That’s when usually it hits home.”

Don’t lie. You lie to me, it’s fine. But don’t lie to yourself.” “Then you’ve got to look in the mirror and say, ‘Do I really want to be a first-round draft pick and I’m doing this?’ That’s when usually it hits home.”

🚨Pep Guardiola was asked about Lionel Messi’s performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup ahead of Argentina’s final against Spain. 🎙️ Reporter: “Pep, Lionel Messi has once again been one of the standout players of the tournament at 39 years old and now has Argentina one win away from another World Cup. What have you made of his performances?” 🗣️ Pep Guardiola: “People keep asking me how Messi is still doing this at 39. My answer is always the same because football has never seen anyone like him. Age defeats everyone, but somehow it refuses to defeat Lionel Messi. “This World Cup has been another reminder that greatness is not only about speed or physical power. It’s about understanding the game better than everyone else. Leo sees football before it happens. That is why he continues to dominate the biggest matches. “I’ve had the privilege of coaching him, so I know what he is capable of. But even now, he still surprises me. Every touch has a purpose, every pass creates danger, and every decision he makes is the right one. He doesn’t need to run more than everyone else because he makes everyone else run for him. “What impresses me most is his football intelligence. His mind is always several seconds ahead of the defenders. By the time they realise what he has seen, the move is already finished. That isn’t something you can coach. It’s a gift. “People will talk about goals and assists, but Leo’s biggest quality has always been his ability to control matches. He decides the rhythm, he decides when to attack, when to slow the game down, and when to produce something extraordinary. Very few players in history have ever had that level of influence. “Now he has another World Cup final ahead of him against Spain. Finals are never easy, but if anyone can produce another magical moment on the biggest stage, it’s Lionel Messi. I’ve learned never to doubt him. “When people look back at this World Cup years from now, they should remember that at 39 years old, Messi wasn’t just participating—he was leading Argentina, inspiring a generation once again. For me, there has never been another player like him, and I don’t believe there ever will be.”

Inter Miami’s new signing and Leo Messi’s new teammate, Casemiro, was asked in an interview who the better player is between Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and here was his reply: 🗣️ “Well, it’s difficult for me to choose between the two because I played against Messi when I was at Madrid so many times, and I can say I managed to stop him a few times because he was almost unstoppable. As for Cristiano, he was my teammate at Madrid for about five or six years. I watched him train, and we played together. He was just a beast, and the goals he scored were simply unbelievable. But even though Messi is my new teammate now and an unbelievable, magical player, I will go with Cristiano Ronaldo because he’s a complete player. He can score with his left foot, right foot, and his head. He can create chances too, so for me it’s Cristiano. And I do love Messi too hopefully we create magic together at inter Miami”.

“This isn’t a debate about vaccinating your child or not. My 6 year old was vaccinated and hasn’t had issues, hasn’t been a sickly child, & never had any type of reaction. My 2 year old and 6 month old went for their wellness checks last week and both got the vaccinations they were due for. The way my heart broke in that drs office holding my 2 year old down to a table and letting someone stab a needle into his leg 3 times while he held my face and screamed mama to the top of his lungs is something I will never do again. Ever. I decided right then he would never get another vaccine. My 6 month old cried most of the way home then was PITIFUL the rest of the evening. I am his comfort, his only want and need, and even I couldn’t console my baby. It’s a no for me. I’m not as knowledgeable as a lot of my peers or my friends who don’t vaccinate their children, but I know enough to decide that I am comfortable not letting them have anything else injected into their little bodies or have to essentially torture them by holding them down to receive a shot full of God knows what. I say all this to say, if you vaccinate your kids, GREAT! If you don’t, GREAT! I don’t care either way! Again, my oldest is vaccinated. At that time, I thought that was best for him, for us. Six years and 2 more kids later, I no longer think that. And that’s okay. Here’s to doing what you think is best for YOUR child and trusting your mom instincts instead of just going along with it because it’s what your parents did for you, or what the drs tell you, you HAVE to do.” - Kaitlyn Wilson - ✍️

🚨CASEMIRO ON LIONEL MESSI: 🎙️Journalist: Now that you’re playing alongside Messi, what is your honest opinion of him? 🗣️Casemiro: Honestly, Messi is the greatest footballer of all time. And I’m not saying that just because I’m playing with him. I’ve watched him for years, but when you actually share the pitch with him, you understand how different he is. The way he sees the game, his decision-making, his first touch… everything is at another level. Sometimes he does something and you just wonder how he saw it. 🎙️Journalist: What about Ronaldo fans who strongly disagree? 🗣️Casemiro: I honestly don’t care. They can disagree with me. I respect everyone’s opinion, but I’m giving you mine. I’ve played with great players throughout my career, but Messi is different. When you play alongside him, you understand why people call him the GOAT. 🎙️Journalist: So you’re standing by it? 🗣️Casemiro: Absolutely. Messi is the greatest footballer I’ve ever seen. That’s my honest truth, and I’m not changing it because Ronaldo fans don’t like it.
