I have been using claude for a while and the terminal feature is God's gift

I see these kinds of presentations all over X and most of them are highly misleading. If you don’t know how to think systematically, in data structures and algorithms, you will stumble all over the place talking to Claude. If your head isn’t straight about what you want to do, you won’t get very far very fast. You don’t have to directly code, of course. But you had better be able to think in a logical, linear way and keep lots of moving parts in your mind because I promise you, is not gonna be enough. Most of these videos exist to promote the people making the video, not to actually help you. Claude is like a very sophisticated programming team helping you, but you still have to have some very clear idea about what you’re doing or you won’t get anywhere.

I’ve been manually prompting GitHub Copilot to do exactly this ('ask me questions until you understand') for months. It’s the only way to get a bulletproof spec. I had no idea Claude Code essentially productised that hack into a native tool. Definitely giving this a spin.

claude code is a game changer. it makes sense since most of the best vibe coding tools use claude models under the hood when they are at their best.

It all starts with your first prompt. Either you build a solid context prompt that has what you need and will satisfy Claude or get an AI slop product
