The project is one of five priority projects under PPI Phase 1, alongside Offa, Onitsha, New Abeokuta, and Sokoto. Once completed, this intervention will increase the station's transmission wheeling capacity by 120 megawatts. As my first executive order following inauguration, I am asking state agencies to further streamline permitting and empower Utahns to build a future of abundance. I think about the days when my family’s company laid fiber optic lines to places like Scofield and Beaver Mountain. Back then, permitting was fast and collaboration was the norm. We can do it again. It shouldn’t take years to get approval for a project that benefits our communities and strengthens our economy. Read more here:
