Congress party supports the student movement, we already have our own frontal organisations NSUI and Indian Youth Congress protesting from months NOT days! Kindly don’t tell us where and how to agitate! Till political parties continue to be run from Delhi, nothing will change. Raja Warring and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa reportedly had to leave their phones outside during meetings in Delhi. Is this the level of trust the party has in its own Punjab Congress President and a former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab? Strongly condemn the behaviour of Youth Congress leaders at the BJP State Office. What were the police doing when Youth Congress leaders were burning an effigy of the Hon’ble Prime Minister and painting the BJP office gate black? Is the intelligence system in Telangana even functioning? When the BJP State Office is being attacked in broad daylight, are the police simply watching? Are they working at the behest of the Congress? Don’t the police have a responsibility to protect the state office of a national political party located in the heart of Hyderabad? The police must answer for this failure. Congress leaders should not mistake our patience for weakness. If we decide to respond, Youth Congress leaders won’t be able to move around freely. Today, for the first time, I witnessed Congress legislators being heard collectively at Sri Akal Takht Sahib with such patience, dignity and respect. Leader of the Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa and other Congress MLAs were given ample time to explain their position on the anti-sacrilege legislation. Considering the Congress party’s historically difficult relationship with Sikh institutions, this was a significant moment. To me, it reflected the impartial stature of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and opened space for dialogue, accountability and reconciliation.

I would like to remind the Congress party that J&K is an integral part of India, and every state and citizen has the right over J&K, just as the people of J&K have the right over the rest of India. The Congress doesn’t know that many brave sons of Rajasthan have sacrificed their lives for peace and security in Kashmir. But it is not merely the fault of the Congress leaders. It is mostly the Italian culture of the Congress party that is to blame for not understanding the very idea of India. Such statements hurt every patriotic citizen who cares for the unity and integrity of the nation. People will certainly answer Congress. And for the kind information of the Congress, it was not Article 371, but Article 370, that was abrogated by the Modi government. Respect Muslims & don't treat Muslims as mere Vote Bank. 18 out of 19 MLAs that Congress has won in Assam are Muslims. 18 of the 20 Muslims fielded by Congress have won. Only 1 out of the other 79 non-Muslims fielded by Congress has won. Kerala has elected 35 Muslim MLAs in an assembly of 140 and 30 are from Congress led UDF alliance. 8 Congress MLAs are Muslims and all 22 of Ally Indian Union Muslim League MLAs are Muslims. Congress won 2 seats in West Bengal and both of them are Muslims from Muslim majority seats. In Tamil Nadu, Congress nominated 2 Muslims out of which 1 has won. It is clear that the only community that is assured of victory on a Congress ticket are the Muslims. Don't be against Muslims but, do not become a Muslim League Party which is divisive!

Kerala has elected 35 Muslim MLAs in an assembly of 140 and 30 are from Congress led UDF alliance. 8 Congress MLAs are Muslims and all 22 of Ally Indian Union Muslim League MLAs are Muslims. Congress won 2 seats in West Bengal and both of them are Muslims from Muslim majority seats. In Tamil Nadu, Congress nominated 2 Muslims out of which 1 has won. It is clear that the only community that is assured of victory on a Congress ticket are the Muslims. Don't be against Muslims but, do not become a Muslim League Party which is divisive!
