How about the millions of tonnes of chemicals in rivers?

Pardon the question. I think cleaning out of the water is great but a question came to mind. Where does the 55 tons per day or 1,650 tons a month of mostly plastic finally end up? It ain't recycled and who wants to live near it.

but once the plastic is collected- where does it get dumped? Isn't it better to ban all plastics & fossil fuel based products?

That's a good idea. I'm all behind cleaning up the pollution all over the planet. The climate change crap I not so into but the pollution cleaning definitely on board

Look at all of those American rivers!

God bless this Dutch non profit organisation. Seems like it needs our financial support to ramp up its production of these boats. Hopefully nations are putting in their orders or starting their own clear ups at the mouths of their large rivers.

Awesome, we need loads of these everywhere.
