Public transit is an essential service, but every year it seems like transit funding is on the chopping block. I’m sick of playing defense — we need to fully fund Muni, BART, Caltrain, and other systems to expand access to transit and deliver faster, cleaner, more reliable service.

We’re making the largest public transit investment in our country’s history because Canadians need and deserve access to safe, reliable, and affordable transit. And it’s about making all our communities better, liveable places.

Today, E-Bus Xpress Kiira Ltd is launching new routes in Kira Municipality, easing transportation and improving connectivity for residents across several routes in the municipality. This is a welcome step towards making public transport more accessible, convenient and reliable for the people of Kira. #ElectricExperience #KiraIsElectric

My Public Transit Plan is designed to transform our public transit system, address our fiscal deficit, improve public safety, and restore confidence in City Hall. I will take immediate steps to advance this plan on Day One. As Mayor of Chicago, I will move safe, clean and reliable public transit from the Wish List to the To-Do List. #chicago

We’re building a lot more public transit — and a lot more housing next to it.

Governor Hochul is pushing a $25 per car owned fee in NYS That money will go towards subsidizing mass transit. Everyone will need to pay this even if there is no mass transit in your area. Making New York MORE unaffordable; that's what Hochul's specialty is...

After 7 years of work, today my bill to zone for more homes near public transit finally takes effect. It’s time to tackle our affordability crisis by building the homes we need to end the shortage — and building them in places people can access public transit.

Public transportation is crucial for our economy, communities, and people. And here in Illinois, we are on the verge of delivering a world-class transportation network. The Northern Illinois Transit Authority is our step toward a future of having the best transit system.

Public transit is so important to communities across the country, including here in #UniRose. That’s why, if re-elected, we will work hard to make it faster, safer, and more reliable. On April 28, vote Liberal Party. Together, we are #CanadaStrong!

Investing in Canadian-made transit strengthens our economy from end to end - driving good-paying jobs, strong supply chains, and reliable infrastructure built by Canadians, for Canadians. Here is what we did today in Thunder Bay.

Tunnelling work on the Scarborough Subway Extension is ahead of schedule and on track to finish this year, with 75 per cent of the tunnel already complete. We’re making progress every day to put 38,000 more people across Scarborough within walking distance of reliable and affordable transit.
