Still think it’s awesome that Cartoon Network promoted the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series airing on Toomani with a bumper narrated by none other than Peter Cullen. Hearing the voice of Optimus Prime talk about Star Wars only makes this series feel somehow even more epic.

Anakin Skywalker’s duel with Asajj Ventress from the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series is one of the most underrated lightsaber duels in all of Star Wars. Beautifully animated while also perfectly showing Anakin leaning in to his anger and hate, pushing him further towards the Dark Side.

The final minute of The Clone Wars is still easily some of the greatest Star Wars ever. Watching Vader’s silhouette walk away from Ahsoka’s crashed Venator through the reflection of a Clone Trooper’s helmet says more than any dialogue ever could. Exceptional storytelling. I seriously can’t imagine this series ending any other way.

The final minute of The Clone Wars is still easily some of the greatest Star Wars ever. It’s really cool that we got a glimpse of what Clone Trooper training was like on Kamino in the Republic Commando game from 2005. We’d get a further exploration of this in the 2008 Clone Wars series, but you literally get a first person view of what life was like for a clone from creation to deployment on Geonosis. Such an incredible experience. One of the best Star Wars games ever.

Through gorgeous animation and Kevin Kiner’s incredible score, so much is said and emotionally conveyed without a single line of dialogue being spoken. Absolute masterwork. Without question is still one of the greatest series finales that I’ve ever watched.
