Tabhi bodycam ka pravadhan daala hai. Bodycam off karna matlab naukri se out. Bodycam kharab hua to turant HQ me report kiya jaaye nahi to out. Aur nayi tourist police banayi jaaye. Existing police se aap imandari wala kaam karwa hi nahi sakte.
All that would not be needed if fresh drinking water points are made available at all tourist places and plastic water bottles are banned. However environmental concern only applies for talks, conventions & campaigns and it doesn’t make sense to any Government. Because every plastic bottle you buy, every disposable item is running factories, generating employment and helping molding industry buy plastic that again contributes to taxes and GDP.

Why are our beaches & mountains littered, but foreign lands stay clean? It’s not just the govt we lack civic sense. Stop blaming, start changing. Don’t trash Uttarakhand & Himachal.
Let’s be honest requests and awareness campaigns won’t fix this mess. What we need is strict, visible enforcement. Deploy a trained tourist police force with body cams, lathis, and tasers. Give them real authority to issue challans and make arrests on the spot. One or two seasons of firm action will be enough to reset the system. But here’s the catch don’t just blame tourists. Local hotels, shops, and even the garbage disposal authorities are openly dumping waste into rivers and getting away with it. Why are they never held accountable? Enforcement should be equal and ruthless across the board. No exceptions, no excuses. If we truly care about preserving our rivers, environment, and heritage, then it’s time to stop talking and start acting. Rules mean nothing without action and right now, that action is long overdue.
