The flechette munition was used primarily during WW1 contrary to this claim, however, it did lead to the invention of the cluster munitions first used during WW2. The cluster munition was used in carpet bombing with each munition being armed and detonated separately. This lead to the 2010 creation of the Convention of Cluster Munitions (124 countries) to ban its use during war time due to some bombs not exploding and ending up like a landmine or being indiscriminate in the target area. Did you know that Russia, nor the USA never joined the CCV? Peace through strength. 💪 💣

Last night, a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile strike was carried out on the city of Balakliya, Kharkiv Oblast. The strike was carried out on the "Tbiliso" restaurant in the city centre (49.45145, 36.83705). The target was likely an event for the AFU related to Ukraine's "Day of Defenders". This is especially likely, considering that there are no photos of the restaurant, with all footage facing away from it, even though it has been used for civilian purposes as evidenced by its recent google reviews. This would've made a good propaganda piece for Ukraine to accuse Russia of striking a civilian restaurant. However, due to the restaurant's proximity to surrounding apartment buildings, 1 civilian (an elderly woman) was killed, and 9 others were wounded.
