But how? 👀 It turns out that spiders use hydraulics to move their legs. They extend their legs by contracting their prosoma chamber, which sends fluid into their bodies. Scientists selected wolf spiders that can lift 130% of their weight. Using such a solution could be useful for pick-and-place processes in electronics assembly, for instance.
