Already, I know this segment from the interview has so many people (armys included) squirming. The thought of conflict never sits right in this fandom. Bc most of us have a very unhealthy view of conflict. But conflict (the healthy version) is good. It’s natural. It’s how you grow as an individual and a group. It’s how you’re able to cultivate a 15 year relationship with your bandmates. If this album was made with zero conflicts, that’s when I would’ve batted an eye. Bc that’s not normal. Don’t come for me over this.

Do you think this summer has woken up a lot of people to the climate crisis? I get the feeling it has to an extent - but also that people feel they can pick and choose what they believe - like they see it’s getting warmer and that’s bad, but don’t understand how catastrophically bad it’s going to get if we don’t take emergency action… 👇 Sadly the planet doesn’t work like that. It doesn’t care what we believe or think is politically possible.
